Amazon Address re-use.
 

Hello all,

if an address has had an Amazon account registered to it in the past, the distant past, is it possible for a new occupier to use that address again or is it a 'one time only' situation?

Safer to use a UPS box. You can use it for all mail and returns.

Hello, Amazon doesn't care about your address, it cares about your payment method, how to buy how you pay.

yes , the address matters , I am surprised you are being told here it doesn't

if there should have been an amazon account suspended for copyright violations for example registered there it will become a problem even if the contact person is different

feels like the level of issue for the new address user might depend on the level of violoations/suspension accusations on old address user

Address does not matter as long as it’s your business address but person address yes does matter but since you using on different name it should be fine

What about if it's the same residential address, but different person but same surname as someone who has been suspended previously?

amazon may use various details to link accounts , there are various examples of people from same household being suspended just for having same address

amazon are also known for deliberately rejecting applications for new accounts for no apparent reason , apparent does not mean there is no reason
