All New accounts in this month got Second-video interview
 

Hello folks, long time no see.

Seems Amazon changed/ update something for verifying new accounts. All accounts passed video interview.
All accounts registered this month got deactivation 3-10 days after activation , see below.
Some I registered by myself used Super browser with phone tethering,
Some accounts I buy with VPS.
All information is original like email ,password, phone etc.
Before this month, I have not had this issue.
Please share your advice if you are in same boat.

I'd never use VPS.

THe accounts I've made never asked me for a video.
I upload normal DL and SSN

My experience has also been the same, I have not had to make videos for new accounts.
I think the problem you have is the IPs

The 2nd video verification request has been normal for a while, it just doesn't pop up that frequently

Our solution is to purposely trigger shops to request it so it doesn't happen in the future - it can be annoying

But Second video is very difficult to pass. Amazon will ask many questions and invoice.

I reset my home WiFi to get a new IP. I check each time to make sure they are different. I don't think that is the issue.

I think they are hitting accounts that haven't had video verification before (and perhaps rolling it out for new accounts?)
I've got 2 accounts deactivated pending video verification. Both 3-5 years old.

specially for amazon, I'd stick with residential ip . It's been 0 issues for me since I used this

It is totally real, the best way to connect with Amazon is Residential IP.

Looks like it's no longer possible to sell on amazon without interviews. And I don't mean simple identity verification, I mean now you have to report to your new little boss in India (no offence to Indians).

Are these interviews outsourced to India? That may be better news.

My last interview was an American guy. I would expect more scrutiny from someone in the Western world.

What's the chance of the same interviewer if your video verifications were a few days apart (2 accounts)? I'm guessing they are going to need many interviewers if they are doing this for all accounts?

THey ask detailed questions about the account, items, etc.
And you have to answer without hesitations

Was the interviewer American or have they outsourced to India?

They try to catch you out on personal details (eg...D.O.B, zip code)?

It’s mainly from India, they start by asking name phone no address date of birth etc and then goes deeper store name what items you been selling how many item of this ASIN sold in past month how many total you selling items in your store, credit card no, bank account no etc it’s not easy and if the agent think you don’t know much about account they will deactivate your account after interview

Phone number would be an issue. Registered with a free SIM that would have expired long ago. Hopefully have number written down somewhere...as long as they don't send verification code again.
No idea how many units I have sold...could give ball back figure. I know what's popular and what's not with regard product title.

It does sound like they are looking for accounts opened by someone on behalf of others. They will catch out many stealthers and those selling prohibited items too.

To be honest I've been putting this off whilst looking at eBay and other options.

I wanted to gather as much info about the interview process as possible before going ahead. I'm not particularly confident of reactivation as I have creative 🆔, invoices and an office address as residence.

I know it helps to be confident and positive in these interviews (nothing to hide) so I want to be in the right frame of mind.
