Issue with removing inventory from FBA
 

Hi,

My account was suspended (deactivated) two months ago. Amazon sent an email requesting proof of authenticity and warned that they would dispose of my stock if it wasn’t provided. I submitted the required information (invoices), but it has been a week, and I haven’t received any updates.

Has anyone experienced this situation? Is it normal for Amazon to take this long, or does this indicate that my invoices were rejected?

AMZN would need to verify your invoice,is your supplier easily reached?
Does it have a customer service phone number on the document you submitted?
If your merchandise turns out to be knockoffs ,AMZN could destroy them,there are cases where law enforcement team would move in and confiscate them.

yes, my supplier got everything. stocks are not fxxk but amazon kept saying they cannot verify my supplier's info before.

may be ask your supplier why AMZN cannot reach them.

I really doubt if amazon ever contacted my supplier.
amazon reply me same copy email: we cannot verify your invoice or supplier,,,,

I had this a number of times just without FBA , my take on this is that if they send the same replies multiple times they have already made the decision to close the account , also when the solution takes more than 2-3 weeks it is the same - in my experience they do not reinstate at all after this time (approx.) has passed

This could be a standard response to shut down an account.
AMZN may think your supplier sells ⊗⊗⊗⊗ merchandise,so it wont bother to contact them.
It must have a list of all the suppliers given to them by third party sellers,your supplier could be on its list already,you cant be the first one to be selling its merchandise on AMZN

What I want all is take my stocks back from FBA, it's been a while since i sent invoice to inventory appeal department, no update at all, that really worries me.

I'd be worried too - depending on how big the amount of stock is, you might have to consider legal action to show seriousness

verify is more than just making a phone call ,it wants to verify if your supplier is a legit seller of the goods it sold you.
There was a time Chinese claimed to be selling Tiffany trinklets made in China which prompted Tiffany to take Ebay to court for false advertising.
Once a Chinese family sold Channel purses,belts,etc on Ebay claiming they go to PARIS every summer for vacation and picked them up on sale ,and showed their credit card purchases from store XYZ in Paris.
How much is at stake?
You would have to pay for them to ship it back to you/

FBA is a problem if the account is stealth , if it is in your real name you would be able to get it back as it allows to pressure amazon

The problem is not stealth account,it is either they have not get around to verifying or they are waiting for your supplier to prove authenticity.
if it is knockoff,they may just destroy them,better check AMZN policy

I am sure that all decisions have already been made and they are not gonna verify anything

it is highly unlikely they have any proof for counterfeits regardless of whether counterfeits are there because they come to these conclusions based on selling history , emails from customers etc. , they can even draw conclusions if the items sold are frequently removed for brand violation even if the removals are from other sellers

that is why owner of a real account could pressure amazon either to return inventory or provide proof for counterfeits

if behind AMZN,is the brand name manufacturer,they are known to buy a piece and find out if it is counterfeit or not,so then AMZN will just have to destroy the item based on what they said.
There have been cases,law enforcement team moved into AMZN warehouse and destroy the items .

amazon are even more known for kicking people out without an apparent reason and with minimal communication

correct - they won't often listen to anything that contradicts the decision...hence the legal recommendation if stock is solid

Don't wait longer than a week, I'd keep submitting the invoice every 3-4 days.
And keep calling them too.

So how did they figure your stock aren't real? Is it their bot or someone reported you?

The invoice is the proof! And they can contact the distributor if they need to.

You NEED to resend a LEGITIMATE invoice that's real OVER AND OVER again with the hope that someone CAPABLE on their end actually sees it for what it is unlike the majority of numbskull cs that are rejecting something legit!

it is likely they run a database with items that are known to be counterfeited

I know a seller who was selling media item on amazon and was suspended allegedly for counterfeits , approx. after 3-4 weeks it turned out that all major brands from the suspended inventory were gated for everyone

Still have to ensure some quality of box, etc as well as avoidance of overseas dropship
