does amazon close inactive accounts with no valid payment method?

I have a couple of USA accounts that were left unused after registration. They do not have valid payment methods and are probably in a dormant state. Does Amazon close such accounts, or can I leave them in this state indefinitely?

indefinitely does not work there , if you want to do backup accounts you have to keep selling something , even if it is a little

how long have they been dormant? Best to check in on them and post info here for confirmation...it's always a gamble with AZ

They will put accounts into a "dormant" state I guess. You will be required to re-verify the information on the account and they will continue to charge you.

Yea no... they'll need a valid payment method and bank acc.

I have a seller account which have no sales for months,AMZN asked me to confirm I am still active by logging into my account.

So they asked me to update charge method. Then resubmit registration info and reupload my ID. After that it was reactivated. This seller has been dormant for 9 months.
