I also told that there’s no way it’s connected solely to some safety certificates or stuff.
That’s unfortunate. But just keep on selling what you are still able to list.

If you are in touch with manufacturer and directly with the brand you can try to ask them what’s happening. Since the brand itself can ask Amazon to put some restrictions on listing specific items or full list of ASINS Under the brand.

If you have solid relationships with the brand they can help you to lift the restriction by simply contacting Amazon and letting them know that you are authorized to resell the items. Just by providing you with an LOA for instance.

Its not a brand, its generic label. Produced by a manufacture of many other supplement type products, that supply me their goods. As others have said, Amazon will not be transparent. Thanks for you input, I will have to dig abit more into this. I will keep selling what I have on my account and maybe add other products that are not apart of a gated category, and just wait and keep researching.

Half the time you get an automated response and need to keep on submitting, the other half of the time you get an idiot who doesn't understand any more than the automation does.

What I have discovered with Amazon, is they are very secretive and non transparent. eBay are 100x more clear when it comes to their policy. The problem with eBay in regards to supplements, is the market is highly saturated because it is so easy to list on the site, especially for a product that is not unique

As for supplements and anything connected to medicine in any way they made super strict requirements lately. So actually in some way all these restrictions make sense for the safety u know.
But anyways u as a seller can have all the documents/license and still be made to give up on selling of certain products :(

The thing is, the other product that got approved about 6 months is unbranded, it got approved and is still active with sales.

Unless I got unlucky and Amazon changed their policy right after I started to try to list more products

Remember the incident of a woman who bought a dog leash from an AMZN third party seller ,it exploded and blinded one of her eyes, she sued AMZN .
If AMZN said you cant sell it,then find something else to sell.

well mate just focus on selling what is available; you'll notice if restricted ASIN becomes available for sale in the future; good luck!

No, I'm not going to stress over it, ill just start promoting other non restricted items and just keep checking in once n awhile in regards to any policy changes.

One thing I have learned with ecommerce over the last 15 years, is that things always change, and you have to change with it

They definitely also sued the 3rd party seller. The insurance companies will sue everyone even tangentially related to the incident, maybe even USPS for delivering it. The stuff can get ridiculous.

Re: We are not accepting applications to sell...again

Agreed.
I'm not an insurance company though.

I deal in Food Supplements
I have been active on Amazon for about 6 months now, my very first product, a supplement was accepted (uploaded health certificates) and is still active to this day. But within that 6 months, 5 other products have been rejected (didn't even get to the point where I could upload certificates)

I tried again today to upload a product I have been working on for the last week

No Novel or banned ingredients, no false claims or anything like that. Simple label and packaging

Just says ''Offer was removed
Request selling approval for policy compliance
Reason: Product requires approval to sell.''

We are not accepting applications to sell:
Other Health & Personal Care category in Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)
Other Human Ingestible products in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)

Getting kind of frustrated, is it because I'm still relatively new seller? Should I start selling products that are not apart of a gated category, and get some history first?

Are there other sellers of the products that you were refused to sell?

Highly unlikely, but let’s see what OP says.

Yes, many. The one that got approved is actually very uncommon (but with NO Novel ingredients)

The ones that are getting rejected are more common.

You mean people are actively selling ASINS you were just restricted for ?

That's my thinking. I think they are currently not taking NEW applications at the moment

Yes. But if Amazon decides to stop offering certain items it applies to everyone not depending of approvals.

I see. Well, just move on and sell other items. Maybe your restricted ASINS become available again in the nearest time you know.
You’ll notice it anyways.
