Also Nividea announced a huge writeoff $5.5 billions as it cant sell some of its chips to China,it said so after hours yesterday.
Come to think of it,all these tariffs are good for Ebay and Ebay sellers,I find new, like new, used consumer goods on Ebay, there is no tariffs buying from them and many offer free shipping.
I have a suggestion-
Once there is this Canadian lady who lived near Niagara Falls, she sells DVDs and to save money, she will drive to US and ship them from the Niagara Falls post office(US post office)media mail and pocket a few dollars per DVD.
Unfortunately USPS post office said she must have a US return address as they will not be returning any of her packages to Canada,I dont know how she gets it resolved.
May be you can find someone who lives close to the border or someone in USA who will handle your AMZN sales for you. |
Re: Facial recognition Returning packages to Canada is possible but buyer will have to pay more - which often is not used.
The way many sellers close to border get over this is use of a p.o. box in the USA. Hell, I have 2 spread out close to the border for returns and both online shopping if I feel like. |

Can a foreigner with no US address open a USPS mail box? or are you referring to opening a mail box with a private company?
PHD's situation is not the same as shipping a few DVDs,if he can find someone reliable in US,that person would need storage to stock his merchandise, there are companies which would fullfill his orders, but how is he going to move his merchandise enmass without the tariff issue? |

May be you can find someone who lives close to the border or someone in USA who will handle your AMZN sales for you. | All the Lady has to do is get a postal box (USPS or UPS) for returns, and then pick up returns on her next trip over. I've been doing that for 17 years.
As far as for us, we purchase our product in Canada, and utilize the exchange rate on the dollar to profit.
If I were to buy in the US, have shipped to US, then legally I have a US business and all the headaches to go along with that.
By originating everything in Canada, I then only have a Canadian business. Since that's where I reside, it works this way.
Thanks

It would cost us more to ship small loads over multiple trips, than a large load at once.
We are playing the waiting game to see if CN tariffs drop. Then we will have a window to hurry and get everything in place, then ride off into the sunset.
Here's hoping.

The person just needs legitimate passport ID. I have done this. |
