If you have more than 1 acct, then set up different businesses with licenses.
Then you can use other people, or yourself, for verification. As long as you NEVER use the same piece of ID more than once!

Look it says you are allowed to have multiple amazon seller accounts if you have legitimate business need if you have more than one brand. |

It seems for us here in Canada they need similar but more official documents. I am hoping that any verification issues will only deactivate the .ca store and not the USA side. Quote:

If you wouldn’t mind sharing, what did they request from you and what docs did you send them? Do they give options between a few documents that they would accept? Like Passport instead of drivers license, but either will be accepted.
I’m going through a similar situation with them. |

Incredibly annoying mess. I see them quoting CRA Business Number registration / Master business license on the seller forum post but I have not checked my account yet as im taking a break but I did get their email.
I wonder if nothing will happen if you dont comply with their games which im sure the government is pushing them to do. For example, I ignored their request for insurance and nothing happened to my account and this was 1-2+ years ago.
If it just deactives the Canadian side if they do enforce that would be ideal, Canada making it more and more unappealing to do business there with their bureaucracy. |

Just got my notification that AZ shutting me down for non verification in Canada.
Went online, checked the US acct. ONLY .CA IS SHUT DOWN.
The US side is still active.

Just an update for all of you who have struggled with the new AZ Canada verification requirements.
AZ do not stop at just personel verification, they want bank, CC and business licenses etc...
I was unable to provide the infor they were asking for but the solution was simple!

PhD | Thanks so much for the update. That was what I was really curious about. A couple of the accounts only sell in the USA and do not even list anything on the .ca marketplace. |

Please do tell us, this is going to **** a lot of people including me. | Unironically I dont see anywhere in amazon.ca account in the health page where it is asking to verify my identification as stated in the email they sent me. Maybe its because my business is located in the USA?
I did have an INFORM ACT I had to submit on my .com but nothing regarding this .ca verification bs.
