I was also wondering, since I have more than one Amazon seller account—though none are under my name—if Amazon ever asks to verify them, could I submit my own documents?

It seems having multiple accounts is allowed as long as each Amazon seller account represents a different brand.

Only one account per owner. The owner can be a person, or a business.

If you have more than 1 acct, then set up different businesses with licenses.

Then you can use other people, or yourself, for verification. As long as you NEVER use the same piece of ID more than once!

Very hard to get multi approval from AZ. If you are lucky enough to get it, just remember, if one acct goes down so do all the rest.

They have the INFORM CONSUMERS ACT requirements, which are similar but were a bit easier to manage. It seems for us here in Canada they need similar but more official documents. I am hoping that any verification issues will only deactivate the .ca store and not the USA side.

If you wouldn’t mind sharing, what did they request from you and what docs did you send them? Do they give options between a few documents that they would accept? Like Passport instead of drivers license, but either will be accepted.

I haven't attacked this yet for my account as Amazon, especially for those who organized outside Canada.

Incredibly annoying mess. I see them quoting CRA Business Number registration / Master business license on the seller forum post but I have not checked my account yet as im taking a break but I did get their email.

I wonder if nothing will happen if you dont comply with their games which im sure the government is pushing them to do. For example, I ignored their request for insurance and nothing happened to my account and this was 1-2+ years ago.

If it just deactives the Canadian side if they do enforce that would be ideal, Canada making it more and more unappealing to do business there with their bureaucracy.

Got an answer for the US accts that could be shut down for non verify of the .ca side.

Just got my notification that AZ shutting me down for non verification in Canada.

Went online, checked the US acct. ONLY .CA IS SHUT DOWN.

The US side is still active.

Well I think I messed up because when they asked me to reverify on the CA account, I changed the info on it and now it triggered the US account to also reverify, I have until October 29th or my US account with be deactivated. MY CA account already got deactivated today.

Just an update for all of you who have struggled with the new AZ Canada verification requirements.
AZ do not stop at just personel verification, they want bank, CC and business licenses etc...
I was unable to provide the infor they were asking for but the solution was simple!
An executive member from this forum, Josh operates an appeal service that simply does everything. Trust me, just hire hime and he will do the rest. Check out his reviews cos he is legit

Thanks so much for the update. That was what I was really curious about. A couple of the accounts only sell in the USA and do not even list anything on the .ca marketplace.

Just an fyi! If you do not resolve the verification on .CA side, they will also shut down the US side too. Thats what happened to both my accounts.

This is critical info, thanks for sharing. Can you expand on what transpired? Did your .com side get shut down too? How exactly? Did you submit .ca docs and the seller performance monkeys rejected it and suspended both accounts? Or did you wait till the .ca verification deadline and Amazon suspended both .ca and .com accounts?

Please do tell us, this is going to **** a lot of people including me.

Unironically I dont see anywhere in amazon.ca account in the health page where it is asking to verify my identification as stated in the email they sent me. Maybe its because my business is located in the USA?

I did have an INFORM ACT I had to submit on my .com but nothing regarding this .ca verification bs.

Ill submit a ticket with Amazon.ca and ask whats going on, hopefully the monkeys there can respond in semi legible English and provide a semblance of intelligence for whats going on with my account.
