Been awhile since I bought anything on Amazon. What info does buyer see when they buy?
Your full profile with full name and location?
Is it controllable in any way? I did some snooping around the site but can't really determine what is or isn't available to users
I'm talking right on site and emails they receive when they buy. Once they buy can they see the name, address, etc that you have registered with Amazon?
Thanks!

No. The email only gives the screen name, and the state the item ships from. As far as I know, there is also no mechanism for a buyer to request this information. Amazon views your buyers as THEIR customers. Their rules state that you cannot give them an email address, phone number, etc. Nor can you market to them. All email communications go through Amazon.

So to confirm, they would have no way at all to know what name Amazon has for me unless I gave it to them on shipping paper work? Or if I buy something, but that's not the concern.
If Amazon has John Doe and I use John Smith on shipping paperwork worlds will not collide?

Amazon wants you to use their packing slip. It contains the customers info, but only your screen name and the order info. I would simply use the screen name when shipping. If you only enclose their packing slip, as per Amazon's rules, they will have no idea of what your name is - just the screen name.
