Hello,
Whenever i lower my price to match my competitors, the next day my amazon account gets suspended either due to ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items, seller review (which is strange on an account that has less then 10 sales with items selling for less then 5 bucks) or various reasons that amazon pulls of out of their arse. Is there anything i can do? I am in the process of creating another stealth account to test this theory since i am fearing that once i start lowering prices then amazon is getting alerted and reviewing my account. does amazon do this?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
This is a interesting question. I recently lost a Amazon account and it had strong feedback and no A-Z claims on it. I had just listed a item by a particular manufacter that I had never tried to sell before and within a 2-3 day span I had changed the price a few times and them the suspension came. I figured it was the manufacter that complained about possible ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items. Maybe Amazombie will have a good answer for this.
I am trying Amazon for the first time ever and seems to be ok in all respects. I am also waiting to hear what some people with experience have to say about this.
the only logical thinking that im getting is when the manufacture is noticing that your always changing prices and then they alert amazon on some bs to get you suspended. atleast im not the only one that noticed this odd trend

Amazon does not like price hopping. Pick a price and leave it alone.

if amazon does like price hoping, then how do other sellers use various programs to automatically lower their price?

Carelessly. That's how.
You have the ability to change your price every 15 minutes or even faster. But doing so will get you suspended. Changing a couple times a day is enough to get you in trouble. Doing it once every couple of days can do it.
Forget the crackhead mentality of selling cheap watches from a trenchcoat on a streetcorner and cutting your prices to beat the guy on the other corner. Well, unless your hobby is collecting suspended Amazon accounts. If that's your gig, by all means change your prices often and drop them low low low.

Trying to match competition is a never ending battle that only makes you loose money. You lower your price, he lowers his. Back to square one. I usually set my price just a little more than competition. They sell out of inventory and I'm free to market my inventory about 10 dollars more since everyone else sold out competing with each other. $10 ain't much, but times it by 100 sales a month.
I usually lower mine once per day, if needed. I have the amazon app downloaded on my phone, so I can search on it, without singing in of course, for my merchandise and see if it needs lowered. Usually at night, around 8-10pm est, is when I lower it and forget it for the night. That is when I seem to get most of my sells.
When i lower my prices on my cheap feedback item's i have no problems, but when i lower the good stuff I have been suspended. I had a buyer leave a nasty " this is a phake" feedback once so I googled his email, name , etc.. till I found out he was one of my competitors!
I never even thought of it, but I've only had to lower prices 2-3 times (just to stay the lowest) before items sold and always at least 2 or 3 days minimum in between and never even got a sniff of suspicion.
Recently listed 6 items last week and was the lowest on everyone (at the time I listed) and they all sold in just a total of 4 or 5 days.
The big ticket boxed sets ($150-$200+) were used, don't know if that makes a difference.
Also unless they are going in and actually checking the feedback on your previous sales I don't think there is a way to easily track how many you have sold.
