Default Amazon marketplace shipping service

I just got a email from amazon to inform me of their new shipping service that are offering. Here is what is says:

Dear Seller,
We are excited to announce the launch of the Amazon Marketplace Shipping Service.
Using this new service you can purchase USPS postage directly through your Manage Orders pages. To start the process of buying postage for an order, click the Buy Postage button under the order's Product Details section. For more information, visit the Manage Your Orders page.
One advantage of the Marketplace Shipping Service is that Sellers will be able to purchase USPS delivery confirmation for First Class and Media Mail for .19¢ and receive free delivery confirmation for Priority Mail.
Best regards,
Amazon Services

Do you think it would be safe to use this service for stealth accounts????

But i dont see it in my account and this moment, is it only for PRO-Seller?

I have a couple of stealth amazon accounts and only one of my accounts had this email sent to it. I am not a pro-seller nor do I have a pro-merchant account.

Guys do you think there is any possibility that Amazon would link an account if you use the Stamp.com shipping service?

I used it for the first time yesterday - there's no 99 cent fee, just the 7 cents (which you don't get charged if you subscribe to stamps.com, but then you would have all of THEIR fees to deal with). Pretty good deal I think, and long overdue.

i didnt receive that e-mail, hope all accounts will have access.

its great that i dont need to pay the shipping upfront, so that i can use the balance directly from amazon.

One of the best new things on amazon.

The 7 cents is worth it not to have to stand in line at the post office. Plus I always use delivery confirmation, and it's something like 50 cents cheaper with online postage, so that more than balances for me. (Amazon doesn't accept the post office's delivery confirmation as proof, but my feeling is that it hinders buyers who might be inclined to claim non-receipt.)

I have to assume this is for shipping from within the US only?

That's right! I had a customer who claimed the item was never received. Amazon refunded the order and when I complained they told me that the only proof of delivery they accept is SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION. It only happenned to me once after a few thousand sales, so I didn't really worry about it.

Yes you can use PayPal for shipping, but you have to cut and paste the address, or more likely retype it all. With Amazon you just click a few options, print the label, tape it on and give it to your carrier or drop it off at the post office - couldn't be easier. You can use it for international mail yet, which I will be trying for the first time today to see how complicated it is. (My impression with trying to do international mail with PayPal was that it forced me into choices more expensive than what I could get at the post office.)

Just did some international shipments using the Amazon postage service, and it works fine - no more having to fill out customs forms! Another benefit is that by using this I don't have to go though the final stage of confirming that I have shipped the items. As with all online postage options you get a lower rate than by taking the item to the post office, which more than makes up for the 7 cent fee. I completely love this!

Nobody, How would Amazon have any idea where you're located??? If you have any concern then use your stealth address to ship it..

say that your really in new york, but your stealth address is in california, when you print a labeland mail the package, it gets scanned by post office and it will say where it was scanned, of course it will say it was scanned in ny, and amazon might get suspcious and try to link you to your suspended account.
