Possible to use Netspend as a Amazon bank account?

I heard there are some problems using netspend with paypal, is it ok for Amazon? also do you need a social security # to open up a Netspend acct? How many accounts / cards can you have with them?

I have a Netspend card with banking info. (Account and routing number) I went in online and typed my name, address, phone number, and email address and they approved me. No SS#. I have yet to use it on Paypal or Amazon because supposedly, the names must match the bank info with Paypal in order for the transfers to go thru. Makes me wonder tho... If all it took was name, phone numbers and such, couldn't one make an account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information matching that of your Paypal or Amazon account? Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Due to the PATRIOT Act you need to give your SSN to activate the account before you can use it.
