Default used dvds

I was wondering if used dvds sell well on amazon? I want to start selling my used disne6, tv series, and other dvds on amazon. Do customers buy these or is it a hit and miss thing? Thank you

I don't understand what you are saying. Do the used dvds sell well on amazon?

Basically dvds sell yes, but theres a lot of competition. But its free to list so go for it. But you have a high chance of getting banned if amazon thinks your selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

Amazon charges a 15% commission on what is sold. But if there are no sales, you don't owe them any money. So it costs nothing to try.

Be aware that many sellers of counterfeit DVD's are now listing them as used. Amazon knows this, so if you are listing and/or selling multiple "used" box sets, then you will probably lose the account.

If I wanted to take them to a pawn shop, I wouldn't be on this forum asking this question

edit - 15% PLUS the $1 (if not a pro merchant) PLUS the "variable listing fee" which is another dollar-something.

It's pretty easy to see what your DVDs might be worth - just look them up on Amazon and see what items of the same condition (Like New, Very Good, etc.) are currently selling for. There are some Disney items that go for lotsa $$, so you might have some gold there, especially at this time of year. My advice is to scan the listings carefully and not automatically offer yours at the lowest possible price - take all factors into account, such as the condition of your DVDs, your Amazon rating if any, whether some sellers are shipping from overseas (you can charge more than them and still beat them this time of year because people want their stuff fast before Christmas), etc. Good luck!
