Default Just Bought AmazonGhost

While skimming through the pages for the 1st time, I noticed it said one of the ways to get a clean computer is at the library. My question is, what if other people logged into their own Amazon accounts at the library computer, won't Amazon think the accounts are linked and suspend both accounts because every person is only allowed to have one account?

Also, before buying this guide I created 2nd Amazon account using a friends details, but I would like to use my own bank account, the same name I used in my first (suspended) Amazon account. Would I be able to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Then Amazon should create a new policy saying that "logging in to your amazon account using a public computer is a site violation punishable by suspension of your account". I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Amazon Nazis did something like that.

Although I think it shouldn't be a problem, you never know.

Why do people ALWAYS have trouble understanding bank accounts?

No company can see the name or any other details about your bank account funds are being deposited to. That information is not shared by your bank. There is more to this but that's the jest of it.

And about the library, it's just an option and 99% of the time it works well.

OK... A public library computer would work fine. In order for it to fail, another Amazon seller would have to be using the computer for the same thing, AT MINIMUM. The odds of this are very slim.

As to the bank account, nobody can see your name. The only danger is that your bank MAY reject a deposit coming into your account for "Bob Smith" if your name is "Steve Foster". There are numerous threads about which banks are not a problem, just search for them. And, to get you started, HSBC, Bank of America and Chase all work. There are several others, as well.

Also, I recommend that you ditch the account with the friend's details. If anything goes south, you could end up getting your friend into a jam. Much better to use a totally made up name. There are also numerous horror stories about this you can search for.

Don't worry. Stealth seems complicated at first, but quickly becomes second nature. You'll have 150 accounts before you know it!

I just opened another account on a public library network. It is the same one that I was blocked/linked on in the past. I used all new info. So far its been two days, and I sold three items, and no dreaded Amazon alert that I have been blocked. We'll see.

Also, what I did for the bank account was use a slight variation of my name. This should work ok. I also used the debit card that came with the account for the credit verification, also slightly altering the name. Suprisingly it went through. Im a little worried about that though.

I really like the name variations, as if there is ever a dispute, you can argue that the difference is a typo or other error. DBA's also work.

If someone wanted to use a totally different name, I would suggest registering a DBA if your sales go over an amount that you absolutely could not afford to lose. It is usually cheap (price is set by your county of residence) and takes just a few minutes. Then, you could use the registration to prove that the money belongs to you if there was ever a problem.

I have an HSBC account. Your saying if the name on the account is John Doe, and I write Taylor Smith on Amazon, the funds will go through without problem? Also, if funds are rejected, will Amazon attempt to deposit it in 14 days again?

If somebody happened to log in to their own legit Amazon account from a Library computer, and I log in to my Amazon account from that computer a month later, Amazon would most probably shut down both accounts. Why are the chances of somebody else ever have been logged onto to Amazon from a library computer very low?

I think it is because the IP is only one of the ways they will track, and link accounts.
