Just a warning for beachbody peddlers...
 

Amazon is doing a HEAVY crackdown of p90x, insanity, and chalean today. How do I know? they are chopping down and banning every listing below industry standard. I dabble in this alittle here and there and know that when I saw only 18 listing for the used column today that something was up. Hope this helps someone not get hit.

Amazon usually cracks down in high-risk categories right before the Christmas rush.

This is certainly not news. I don't even sell this kind of thing yet I can remember more threads about P90X than any other.

Let's hope you're right about that I still got a ton of stuff I was able to sell about a month ago and now it's restricted, if that's the case then Jan. should be a good month.

Yeah beach body products have always been a quick ban category and alot of scare tactics employed by management to scare sellers.

yeah true....i got banned today right after posting p90x.....i didnt even sell one...craps....got quite a few.... craigslist here i come....

Glad I didn't buy any one of those. Do you guys know anythign about the ZUMBA DVD sets? On ebay, that was the reason why I got Vero violations eventually the suspension, but before my account got suspended on amazon, I sold 20 Zumba DVD sets in 2 days therefore reached the 750 limit. Well... I was not aware of the limit at the time.

best bet is to stay away from any fitness product. I read some story about some woman selling some fitness thing on ebay for a couple years, and they sued her and put her ass in ail lol. This is obviously the most extreme case, but its like brainetics or rosetta. A company producing 1 sole product and making ridiculous amounts of money off of it is going to be more likely to go after people than a company selling hundreds of different products. easier to crack down on just 1 product.

Zumba is another high-risk product.

damn!! I got zapped by them this morning for selling insanity!! All orders are dispatched does that mean my money is tied for 90days? And i still got 200 zumba to try and peddle off!!!!

Very high risk category will probably take 20 accounts to finish those off.

just out of interest i have my USED GENUINE rosetta cds, if i list em on ebay will i be ok or will i get booted?

ebay pretty much assumes there all ⊗⊗⊗⊗ unless your an established seller, and most people who sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗ put them up as used too. Since its only one you will probably be ok but you might have problems.Try your luck i guess

I listed Zumba as used on ebay and it got taken down within 10 hours and my account got suspended. Try to sell some on craigslist. You might have a chance.

You can still get rid of em on ebay you just got to list em at a low BIN price and keep selling em until you got 3 listing pulls then make a second account in the same info then a 3rd, 4th and so on...

Really? just like that? no warning just a suspension? Was it a mc010?




What about the ip? should it be left the same?

If your going to use jbuntz strategy then sure leave ip the same why waste another if your going to get banned within a couple hours anyways. I use to do with amazon sometimes when i wanted a quick sale.

If you're using same info, same paypal then yeah same ip, and you won't neccaserally get banned you get a 7 day suspension after your 4th policy violation, you still want to take it a little slow and sell some safer stuff first on each account though build that good rep first...

even through this is an old topic,but there are still a lot of new sellers having the issue for this .Do not sell P90X on ebay any more,otherwise your account will get suspend soon and affect your on line business.

zumba is very popular at australia but not selling good at usa,i think it is because aus' people like its dance style.
