Just a warning for beachbody peddlers...
 

Amazon is doing a HEAVY crackdown of p90x, insanity, and chalean today. How do I know? they are chopping down and banning every listing below industry standard. I dabble in this alittle here and there and know that when I saw only 18 listing for the used column today that something was up. Hope this helps someone not get hit.

Amazon usually cracks down in high-risk categories right before the Christmas rush.

This is certainly not news. I don't even sell this kind of thing yet I can remember more threads about P90X than any other.

Let's hope you're right about that I still got a ton of stuff I was able to sell about a month ago and now it's restricted, if that's the case then Jan. should be a good month.

Yeah beach body products have always been a quick ban category and alot of scare tactics employed by management to scare sellers.

yeah true....i got banned today right after posting p90x.....i didnt even sell one...craps....got quite a few.... craigslist here i come....

Glad I didn't buy any one of those. Do you guys know anythign about the ZUMBA DVD sets? On ebay, that was the reason why I got Vero violations eventually the suspension, but before my account got suspended on amazon, I sold 20 Zumba DVD sets in 2 days therefore reached the 750 limit. Well... I was not aware of the limit at the time.

best bet is to stay away from any fitness product. I read some story about some woman selling some fitness thing on ebay for a couple years, and they sued her and put her ass in ail lol. This is obviously the most extreme case, but its like brainetics or rosetta. A company producing 1 sole product and making ridiculous amounts of money off of it is going to be more likely to go after people than a company selling hundreds of different products. easier to crack down on just 1 product.

Zumba is another high-risk product.

damn!! I got zapped by them this morning for selling insanity!! All orders are dispatched does that mean my money is tied for 90days? And i still got 200 zumba to try and peddle off!!!!

Very high risk category will probably take 20 accounts to finish those off.

just out of interest i have my USED GENUINE rosetta cds, if i list em on ebay will i be ok or will i get booted?

ebay pretty much assumes there all ⊗⊗⊗⊗ unless your an established seller, and most people who sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗ put them up as used too. Since its only one you will probably be ok but you might have problems.Try your luck i guess

I listed Zumba as used on ebay and it got taken down within 10 hours and my account got suspended. Try to sell some on craigslist. You might have a chance.

You can still get rid of em on ebay you just got to list em at a low BIN price and keep selling em until you got 3 listing pulls then make a second account in the same info then a 3rd, 4th and so on...

Really? just like that? no warning just a suspension? Was it a mc010?




What about the ip? should it be left the same?

If your going to use jbuntz strategy then sure leave ip the same why waste another if your going to get banned within a couple hours anyways. I use to do with amazon sometimes when i wanted a quick sale.

If you're using same info, same paypal then yeah same ip, and you won't neccaserally get banned you get a 7 day suspension after your 4th policy violation, you still want to take it a little slow and sell some safer stuff first on each account though build that good rep first...

even through this is an old topic,but there are still a lot of new sellers having the issue for this .Do not sell P90X on ebay any more,otherwise your account will get suspend soon and affect your on line business.

zumba is very popular at australia but not selling good at usa,i think it is because aus' people like its dance style.

Looks like it but the fact that you linked the auction trig...i'm guessing you would like to see him/her/it shut down ha.

You can sell Beachbody products if you are a Beachbody coach and seeing as that seller has been selling the dvd boxsets for about 5 months on ebay I would say that she is a registered coach and has full reseller rights to the product.

I don't care if they get shut down - live and let live is my motto for the most part.

Nah, I had 3 more violations prior to that. I was talking about the last violation and how long it took them to take down the listing.

You can not resell Beachbody products on Ebay, Amazon or Craiglist as a coach. When you sign up to be a Beachbody coach you agree to send people to your Beachbody coach website to fill the order. They are not allowed to sell products for any less than what Beachbody sells it for.

yes,the risk is increase for your account if you sell P90X and insanity on ebay

jbuntz, hold up - do you have to open a new paypal account for each ebay or a bunch of ebays and 1 paypal? cuz then you would have to do a bank deposit confirmation etc.. I dont think I get it.

I have a few beachbody p90x dvd sets that are authentic.
The listings are not lasting more than 6 -10 hours before they are taken down by ebay.
I wrote beachbody lawyer and they told me that they know for a fact my product was ⊗⊗⊗⊗ from the photo. I told them that was bs because I bought it from them. They want a receipt then they will take off the strike with ebay. This is ridiculous that I cant sell a real product. I tried with 3 different usernames and all were taken down within a few hours. all of them had bids.
so all this to say I dont think any new sellers can get away with selling p90x right now on ebay. if you know something I dont tell it. oh, I have less than 10 feedback on all the new usernames I dont know if that matters with p90x.thanks

You say you bought them from them, then why don't you have a record of the purchase?

So you bought them from Beachbody for full retail price and then are reselling them for less? Why would you try and lose money??

When you use the same info you can have more than 1 ebay linked to the same paypal.

I didnt really buy them from beachbody but someone else did. they are real beachbody products. I didnt pay full price. are you guys private investigators or on the forum to help people? wow.

a question, does paypal still limit your account whne selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ dvds? I remember in 2004/2005 when everyone in the uk was crazy for LOST TV SERIES i used to sell like 100 of these a day at 5.99 per 3 episodes!! Did well until ebay caught on and the rights owners started pulling the listings! Back then ebay would get pp to slap you silly with a 180 day wait!

I trust you,but if you want to sell real P90X,you may need to show the proof to ebay and beachbody.And you also need to get authorized letter from them to resell their goods,but it is very diffculty to get it.As they declaim they do not authorized any third party to sell P90X.
