Amazon bank account switch?
I did my best to search for an answer, and I guess I'm hoping for some confirmation more than anything. I've been selling at Amazon with a legit account for a year. Never had any problems until a velocity limit review lifted this past month. Now for reasons unrelated to Amazon and selling, the bank account being used to withdraw funds is no longer an option. I have a week before the next automatic disbursement.
My question is, If I change the bank account # and name, am I required to change the cc associated with it too? I have read on here that chase will allow a deposit into an account even if the names do not match, is that still the case? I'd like to change it to deposit into someone elses account, same bank, same last name, different first name, but same first initial. So if I was John, he's James, will it allow it to be "J. Doe", and would chase allow the deposit?
My bigger question (which I couldn't find an answer for) is it possible to completely transfer the account over to his name? name, CC, bank account, and everything? Or would I have to keep my name, and an active CC (VCC?)on there? My CC on file is a debit for my bank account, but if that gets frozen then I'm sure the card would be useless. The Amazon account standing is great, and Ive been lucky enough to avoid Amazons itchy hammer trigger, I'd hate to have to start again for something unrelated to Amazon. Thanks for any help on this guys.
