jeffweico | 12-24-2010 11:44 AM | Received Customer Inquiry - In Spanish... OK... This is a new one, at least for me.
I just received a shipping inquiry from a customer. Unfortunately, it is written in Spanish and, while I can pick out a few words, I don't speak Spanish. And I certainly don't know enough answer him back in Spanish.
As near as I can figure, he wants a tracking number, but I could be wrong. So, even though I entered it when he placed the order (Tuesday) I am going to email it to him. He did not select any expedited options, so I cannot believe he would be looking for it today as a Christmas gift. Or, maybe he is.
My question would be, does Amazon expect sellers to be able to answer their customers in Spanish? |
Should have posted the message jeff - then my post have have been helpful ha.
Amazon does not expect that but I guess customers don't always care to stay in English |
lakeman | 12-24-2010 12:18 PM | Here's a translator. It won't do perfect but it will do pretty good. Google Translate |
eternal | 12-24-2010 05:15 PM | Well, im from Mexico, send me a PM with the message and i'll translate it for you, i hope it helps. |
jeffweico | 12-24-2010 08:44 PM | Thanks for the offer, but I emailed the tracking number and he responded "Gracias". So I'm guessing it's all good. |

they are pretty good. I'm fluent and I think they do a 8.5 out of 10 job. |
catdaddy | 01-25-2011 09:26 AM | On the plus side, I had a customer leave me negative feedback and an accompanying comment in a foreign language. An email later and Amazon removed it. The same has been true of feedback comments with vulgarity in them. |
