Question about changing NIC adapter for Amazon accounts
Hello,
I went to Fry's electronics to buy a NIC adapter for my laptop. I was told that your not able to change the NIC adapter on laptops. Is this true?
I also bought a new laptop, am I safe to create a stealth amazon account as long as I change the ip address on the new laptop?
I was reading an older post and it says to use a program called MacMakeup to change the Mac Id to NIC. Will this work instead of replacing the actual NIC adapter and would I be able to do this for multiple accounts/multiple user ids?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
You could certainly change the NIC if you wanted to. But only the wireless NIC, the ethernet is hardwired into the motherboard. Not required to go on Amazon, just change the MAC ID with software.
There is no need to change your NIC, just spoof your MAC address.
Yes create yourself a spreadsheet of each of your accounts.
Each account will need:
*New Computer User Account
*New IP
*New Mac Address
*New Name
*New Credit / Debit Card
*New Bank Account
*New mailing Address
*New Email Address
*New Phone number

Thanks guys, I ended up disabling all my adapters, restarting my computer, and using the usb modem until I get more familiar with spoofing the mac address.
