Default Amazon Other charges in payments??

Just was not sure what the other charges are for in the amazon payments page? I see the fees far amazon commissions but what is the other fee's .
Just a an example if amazons commission totals are 25.00 and the other fees are 20.00 Is amazon getting 45.00?? i know there are closing fees and a % per item but that should be in the amazon commission section.Just wondering if this is like them double dipping...

I've always wondered the same thing, they take away fees that they never mention to the sellers for whatever reason.

Did you sell 20 items? I know that Amazon charges 15% (at least for books) + $1 per item sold. If you have the Pro-Merchant, they waive the $1 per item.

if you do not have a pro acct. you pay: $1 per listing. % based on category. 5% -15% and a final value fee usually $1 - $2

it could be up to $5 on a $20 item. so build this into your calculations

If you have an iPhone there is an app called fee calculator that has amazon and paypal and eBay. It will tell you all the fees based on item details

I know about the fees but shouldnt they be included in with the commission?? They should actually break it down so we can see what exactly it is..I just think it is a ploy to get more money from us and we make little profit...

They don't break it down that I've found, sure would be nice though

The only place they've shown their fees after the transaction is in your payments account.

Then hit transactions button above and choose the number of days/ time period.

The "other" is shipping credit. The lack of a negative sign should tell you it's not a deduction.

I just figured it out. If you look at the gross sale then deduct the amazon commission then add the "other fees" This gives you your total funds that will be sent to your bank account...
