Amazon Policy Violations

How many is too many policy violations on amazon?

I got a feedback manipulation ( issued buyer refund for removal - item got there just before the last estimated arrival day - buyer left 3 star feedback ) wasnt an issue b4 as ive done it plenty of times.

Second was a condition violation. Comments said bulk packaging and they removed my listing

All happened in 2 days or so.

Anyone been suspended for too many violations?

You are lucky for lasting so long ha. How is your feedback?

!!!Feedback manipulation on Am az on? Crazy ha.

350 99% - Featured account. All this happened when the account got featured... Never doing those again... :-(

I thik you are OK for now. With Amazon it is difficult to say, but it also depends on what you are selling and the severity of the violations.

Yours seem relatively minor. If it were "recopied media" or something, you would be gone.

ovidiu 07-20-2011 05:02 PM

You are OK. Just be sure Amazon gets an email on each one where you try to explain what happened.

Gamefreak 07-20-2011 05:21 PM

Cannot respond to the emails. I do not sell anything that would warrant any type of recopied media or copyright violations.

ovidiu 07-20-2011 08:09 PM

Why can't you respond to them? It's been 3/4 of a year since I got one, but I was always able to reply to them. If not directly through the form, contact Seller Performance and reference the case. Make up something, anything, apologize, say you mistakenly typed in something, whatever. Don't let it go ignored because that will look worse than fighting it.

Maybe it is just me but in surfing I've ran into a few accounts that are still alive despite horrible feedback.

Amazon seems to be getting very lax

Gamefreak 07-20-2011 08:35 PM

Accounts that survive terrible feedback are the big guys. Ppl like us never survive terrible feedback.

To Ovidiu - There isnt an option to respond to the notification. There isnt a cal number or anything.

All it tells me to do it search for the violation and read it.

That makes sense....

Amazon Seller Support 866-226-2966 I wish you luck :typing:

ovidiu 07-21-2011 05:13 AM

I thought you couldn't call Seller Performance, which is the team that issues these violations. If you can now, that's a huge change. I would simply email them and reference the violation.

nobody999 07-21-2011 09:51 AM

wow! 350 postive feedbacks on amazon? that's almost impossible for us to do even if selling legit items. even at 10 percent postive feedback rate, you must have sold over 3500 orders!

rsot 07-21-2011 10:42 AM

A lot also depends on what you sell.

Gamefreak 07-21-2011 02:38 PM

exactly as rsot said it.. I dont sell anything that warrants vero or anything like that so I expect my account to last probably years unless I mess up somehow.

Ive sold a ton of sh!t. Expect to sell even more this year. Hopefully I can get to 1k feedback this year. That would be super awesome

I sell like 50 items a day right now.

Recherché 07-21-2011 03:05 PM

Feedback manipulation for refunding buyers to remove neutral/negative feedback?! I'm with you there as I have also refunded a many customers partial refunds over my various accounts. That is a policy violation?

In regards to your question, you should be OK. At worst, maybe a temp suspension but not permanent one. I have done more egregious on some of my accounts with much less feedback.

ovidiu 07-22-2011 12:17 PM

Yep, you are not allowed to ask buyers to remove feedback contingent on refunding their money, or any other favors/bribes.

Of course, you get their phone numbers these days, so if you're worried about Amazon reading messages (they do if you've done other things to warrant attention), just give your buyer a call.

Melissa1971 07-22-2011 12:38 PM

nevermind.....

Gamefreak 07-22-2011 03:45 PM

how do you get their phone numbers? only marketplace accounts can do that, no?

ovidiu 07-22-2011 03:51 PM

Dunno, when I print my shipping label, their number is right there. I have one of those disburse every 14 days accounts.

Gamefreak 07-22-2011 06:37 PM

Thats exactly why u can see their numbers...

ovidiu 07-25-2011 02:08 PM

Ah. I still don't know the differences, except for the every 14 day rule. Frigging Amazon!

Do you include a feedback slip with your orders? Include your direct email address and maybe a number too, so they can reach you if they have any questions or concerns before they leave bad feedback. In my previous Amazon life, it kept negatives off my back for years except for the occasional bad apple.

Gamefreak 07-25-2011 04:02 PM

Slim has my 800 number, direct email.

People seem hesitant to call as if your not a human being.
