When I got featured merchant status in the electronics category it took about 4-5 months of selling. Thousands of orders, 700 feedback with 99% satisfaction, but all categories are different electronics are one of the harder ones.
6 months of selling. broke 25k on the account in 20 days when it got featured. I think it has little to do with feedback an a lot of do with sales volume and metrics.
Thats pretty awesome. I should have a ton of inventory here real soon and I should be able to get good numbers. I hit 10k in two weeks and I'm sure I can easily get more than that.
Thanks for the info.
Do they email you and let you know or does it just happen?
Thats what I hate about amazon. You never know when you are featured or when you its taken away. Best way though is you should see an increase in sales the hour it happens.
When I got featured i got 10 orders in the like 5 minutes which is unlike the account to receive. Of course that is because the transition from non featured to featured caused my price to be way lower than the next competitor.
By the time you are featured you shouldnt any type of limits on your account.
One of my accounts just got featured after 3+ months, like 30-40 sales with 14 positive feedback.
Are you saying that there are no limitations for me anymore? It would be very nice, but it's a little hard to believe.
How much have you been selling as featured merchant?

It's actually a bit suprising that you would be featured so early.
One has nothing to do with the other though.
It's just that most people are not getting feature status without already having passed at least a couple of velocity limit review increases.
It really kinda depends on your category though. In something like video game media sales, you will pass many velocity limit reviews long before you are capable of selling enough volume to qualify for a featured slot

I've seen Featured Merchant with 2 feedbacks selling only a couple of items.
I've been featured Merchant for about 5 months now with 200'ish feedbacks, and just recently lost it for a short while. Now they made me again featured, I guess after I improved the "response time under 24 hours" metric.
