Default Amazon sellers undercutting

Alot of sellers are just under listing items to make a sale. There is no profit to be made when you sell a dvd boxset for ex 10.00 when it is either 20-40.00 elsewhere. This is just plain stupid.Im talking sets that are not even B o o t s.
WTF.Tis is why you cant make a good dollar anymore .

It's called business. Why do you think sellers will not give out the name of their suppliers? Free market rules

Business if you dont like it get out of the game sadly...

Its all for to be shown as number one when a buyer clicks to purchase an item. More likely to have your items sold.

I think a lot of the sellers these days, who can't possibly be making money at those prices, are "hobby" sellers who sell because they think it's "cool" to be an online seller. People are extraordinarily shallow these days. I see this short of bs in other areas too.

I'm kinda embarrassed to say I earn a substantial part of my annual income from selling on line - and I deal with all the problems that go with it

The key in selling isnt selling popular or trending items. The market is flooded with those. I am not going to give away everything, but this should help you out. If you find people selling relatively high price items for low, and they only have one of them, than they are simply trying to sell them, and get what the current market price is on them. If you see people selling relatively high priced items for low and they have a lot of them, they are clearly f.ake (if vero).

I love when I put up something lets say for 17.99 and someone two seconds later puts it for 17.98. I call them penny cutters.
I would personally never do that. Or sell for the same amount as the lowest or even much higher then the lowest price.

Most of the sellers that do that are buying illegal merchandise. Real merchandise but obtained illegally. Its not hard to spot. New DVD's have a price mark where they cannot be sold below a specific price for a specified time frame.

Plus they cannot be purchased cheaper than walmart or Best buy. If you see them ANYWHERE way cheaper then they are stolen.

SOme of you will think this post is opinion but do some research and you will see that I am 100% correct on this.

Figure it out and turn them in somehow if its eating your profits up that much. Like I said, its not that hard to do if you want to be a part time P.I.

Gotta do what you gotta do.

Every so often, you hear about these people getting busted. They steal tens of thousands from local stores and sell it for half off on eBay or Amazon. Just had one of these cases over here in the NW.

Those are auto-repricers that do that. If the floor price isn't set high enuf, the items end up selling for a penny.

I've gotten in a lot of price wars with other sellers, and sell things at or below cost quite often. I can still make money off the better shipping deals I can get, so I usually win the wars.

Yep, at least several different software packages for pricing on Amazon. I hate these pathetic big sellers who always have to be a penny under everyone else. As a Amazon buyer, I don't just buy the absolute lowest price, I look for the closest seller to me.

Business? I m glad that I do not run my business like that. Penney pinching. Instead of selling my stuff so cheap I'm better off just going down the road and tossing it out the window same Sh!t. Besides all the low ballers are selling F A K E S. My stuff is the real deal. Their suppliers are BS! they are not getting the same stuff as the big retail stores. just B o g u s B o o t l e g s...

Personally this is how I shop as well. I dont mind paying the extra dollar or two to have my item in 1-2 days but if I dont get it in 1-2 days then you will be hearing from me. If amazon is selling the same item for 3-5 bucks more I will buy from amazon. If the item is over $50
