Amazon Vcc unforseen problem? I really need help ! !
 

This is my problem. I operated several stealth accounts on Amazon. One stealth account was somehow linked to my best account (not a stealth account as that account has verifiable credit card information). Amazon linked them and said stop selling on the stealth account, or else.... They did not close any accounts just gave me a friendly warning that it against policy. They told me to remove all listings. I did so.
The stealth account vcc name is slightly different from my name on the non stealth account. they never mentioned that. Just said stop selling.
My problem is this:
After I removed my listings from the stealth account, a customer has requested a refund. I have to refund his money,but the vcc is out of date, and not billable anyway. Should I edit my credit card (remove the vcc) and replace it with my actual credit card (the one from the good linked account)?
Should I buy a vcc and use that information?
should I just leave it and hope Amazon takes the money from the bank account the vcc is tied to?
I really need some helpful advice on this one. Don't know if it has every happened to anyone, but I'm looking for answers....

You were linked because you are using the same ip address, and the kicker is that you can sell on amazon using as many accounts has you want, but you CAN NOT sell in the same category if you sell using multiple accounts. That is what linked you and made amazon send you a warning. Since you are linked, I would suggest getting a VCC with the amount of the requested refund, because if you dont do anything about it and a refund is made, amazon will shut your account down for not paying, and they will also shut all other linked account down as well. This is a very easy problem to avoid, so I would suggest doing it.

That Amazon doesn't necessarily "know" about the link but a Rep did you a favor warning you to stop selling on that account to prevent another Rep from seeing the link to close you. Tell the customer you have mailed their refund in cash with an extra $5 for their trouble. JMHO

I believe it happened to me also but the Amazon Rep said "in so many words" to not ever sell on my other acct at the time. To consolidate my listings but he may have been obligated to ban me, we had talked a long time on a social basis laughing and stuff. Beings the name on your acct is so similar, that may be what saved you. It is just a variance of your own instead of a made up name all together as if you were deliberately pulling a fast one.
Not knowing for sure, you refunding them may be fine if you have the money in the account. If not, I'd guess for funds to be removed from your bank acct an Amazon Rep may need to become involved. In my opinion, it is best not to wake the sleeping Giant

Sent customer's refund through the mail. I hope they accept the money, and Amazon does not notice.

Before you send money through the Mail ask the Customer for their PAYPAL E-Mail,,,Chances are Very Good that they have a Paypal account as well and then send the Refund through Paypal

yes, I have a 100 % on nearly 60 feed backs. I may run the odd stealth account but I treat my customers very fairly. Good idea about PayPal. I have already sent the customer's money back through the mail. But I can't believe my luck, another one pops up wanting a refund. I just want to put that account to bed....
