Default Contacting old customers in Amazon

I have a small Amazon account that is about 6 months old. All good and no issues.

I want to contact all of my old customers through Amazon to tell them of a range of price reductions on the items that I'm selling.

I am looking to clear a boat load of stock and can afford to do it just for the shipping so I am going to change the price to 0.01p on all the items and I know my previous customers will buy.

Will Amazon allow me to contact the customers and tell them of the price reductions or is this seen as abuse of their system

Sorry if this is a silly question but I have no real experience of Amazon at all

Thanks GTB - no you don't get their emails. It's a stealth account that hasn't sold anything really but I want to start ramping it up by clearing a load of stock that cannot be listed on Ebay (adult stuff). I never bothered to keep their addresses - but then I am blonde.:D

If you want to contact an old customer through Amazon it is simple. Just go through your old order history and click on the order id#. Then once you are looking at the order where it has the buyers name click on their name. The next screen will be a email screen that you can type whatever you want and it will send them a email directly.

Thanks Cardfelon. Do they object if you send them sales offers? I don't want to mess up what could be a useful account

Granny the rule is you can contact the buyer about anything pertaining to the particular transaction you had with them but nothing outside of that can be pursued. They try to discourage too much idle chit chat. I'd probably not risk it in case a customer complains

I'd hate to see you banned though. People complain about the littlest things
