Amazon Pro Account a to z Claim?
 
I have a Amazon Pro Account, i have been selling oil paintings.
Just oil painting i get a painter to do for me nothing fancy just common ones.
Anyways i have been selling since January with no issues at all.
I got my 1st a to z claim a few days ago after i told the guy to send back the oil panting he claimed didn't look like what i sent him.

Out of no were he opened a a to z claim on me saying i was rude and the painting looked nothing like i sent him.
I think he is trying to scam me over or something, Amazon told me on my Pro account i make my own policy's.
I have a no refund policy or least restock fee on sent back oil paintings if its a must because you just did't like it.
I was trying to be nice and let him send it back and now he wants to fight with me a claim, what should i do?

I have 1 painting that needs to be shipped next week and tomorrow is when the money is should be released for this new painting.
On Pro account they only release your money every 2 week.
You think my money will be held if so should i just refund the current painting.
May be time to reopen a new amazon store i think very soon.

Little update since i posted.
Strange thing now when i log in this morning it will only go to my seller account info and can't access that order i mentioned above.
Guess i wont be shipping that order or getting my money it looks now.
Wonder if my account is under review or just something else.

Hope some one can help me on what to do and what to expect soon.

If your account was under review there would be a message at the top of the page informing you.

Why not just refund the buyer his money? Is he wanting to keep the painting and get his money back?

Whats your feedback score/ sales volume/ customer metrics?

With an account that is nearly a year old, one A-Z claim should not affect you.

This is going to be a difficult policy to maintain without getting angry customers hence getting suspended.

My suggestion to you is - Swallow your pride, understand your going to have idiot customers who dont care about your policies, and make sure you accommodate their needs. I have lost hundreds $$ (probably thousands) from refunds, prepaid return labels, and paying customers to remove bad feedback.

Its just a part of doing business and it pays off in the long run.

Whats worse - accepting a return and reselling - or not being able to sell on Amazon at all.

You will get an email and see a notice on your account when its under review. Amazon shouldnt block a new order because of a A-Z claim. It is possible the order was pending and never actually went through.

I am sorry to hear you are going thru this.

What you are selling is considered a hand made item

These are prohibited on Amazon

I don't know what is happening with your Seller account but hopefully this is

not the end

I notice my score went from good to fair i forgot to mention.
Still i can only access my seller account information.
When i click on messages or orders or anything just loads and nothing.
Never got a email from them, how long does an a to z claim normally take.

Still shows all my paintings are actively selling on amazon and account is up.
Amazon told me it was fine to sale custom made hand painted oil paintings
when i began to sale them.
Yeah i told the guy to ship it back and i would refund him and he didn't listen.

When he got the painting he waited nearly a month or more to contact me saying he did not like it.
This painting was sold way back in end of July and now all this.
Some people just like to start trouble sometimes i think.

I will keep everyone posted on how this turns out.

If you got permission to sell this, and the buyer waited that long, my guess is you will be alright. They may or may not favor the buyer, it seems awfully weird he waited so long

I don't have time but it is possible the buyer protection is different if the items are unique/handmade

I called Amazon seller support this morning.
They said my cc is being verified which is under my real name and address.
Strange had this cc on file for nearly a year and now you wanna check.
Guess some sort of random check they said my account would be
normal in 48hrs if it all checks out.
