Can emails from inquirers link accounts?
 

When people ask about products and I email them back through my email(hotmail), does my IP address get sent?

If the enquiry is sent from their email you have no problem. If the enquiry is sent through Ebay you have a HUGE problem

when you get an email from a customer, asking for some details, you can't see the real emqil address, all you can see is some inner eb address. am I wrong?
so if you answer this email you answer to nowhere to nobody... no?

The emails end with a @amazon-payments.com or something like that, so yes, the emails come from Amazon.

Can Amazon get an IP address from a Hotmail email account? What about other email services like Yahoo and Gmail, can Amazon get an IP address through these?

I've never seen a IP address in any of the emails I've received...maybe I'm missing something...
