Temporary selling restriction...Action plan?

Hey all :D

I have just had a lovely email this evening stating my selling privileges have been temporarily removed :( due to low ODR rate and I have to submit an action plan within 17 days if I am to reinstate these privileges.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this and what is the best way to approach this? Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Best Wishes
Whiteberry x

Why don't you formulate an action plan and then post it so we can discuss the pros and cons of it?

Have had this in the past - had some go well but many times, it's just an auto-ban.

You need to have a full explanation for why your ODR rate is too low and you're personal plan for raising it as well as how to make sure your customers are happy in the future.

Make it look like it comes from a legitimate business for your best chance of success.

"Sorry I was really busy with work and school and blah blah" won't cut it :)

I had this happen to me. Had a couple of negatives remove and after a few days bam amazon emailed me letting me know my account was back live.

Did you have to email them or did they automatically reinstated your account?
I mean did you have to file an appeal or anything Gamefreak?

Gamefreak 01-20-2012 03:21 AM

I didnt do anything, I had the buyers remove the negatives and after about a week and they stats was in their system they reinstate the account automatically.

Good to hear

Hi whiteberry,

What would be really helpful is if you'd share with us the details of your action plan.

xtrahot 02-16-2012 03:58 PM

can you post what you sent them to help others thanks

ovidiu 02-16-2012 07:24 PM

Please don't ask people to "share" their action plan with others. We don't need Amazon getting exact copies of the same action plan for multiple restricted accounts.

rsot 02-17-2012 10:08 AM

Congrats whiteberry - might I ask in what category your sales were?

Good point, I didn't think of that.

whiteberry 02-25-2012 04:46 PM

hey all :D

Yes, I won't share exactly what I wrote but I just followed the advice of making "action" points rather than excuses to the points that they highlighted in the email. Rsot, my sales are kind of all over the place: home, sports etc.. =)
