| kris3841 | 03-29-2012 08:16 PM | Amazon auto investigating DVD/movie feedback So I have several Amazon accounts up and running selling 95% legit, a few Vero, and few one of a kind films. Every once in awhile I have gotten a neg feedback from a buyer saying "bootleg" or something along those lines at which time I always refund their payment, etc. Well today on a few of my accounts I got an automated email from Amazon stating:
"It has come to our attention that you have received comments from buyers suggesting that items you have sold in the Movies & TV category may have been illegal copies. While this notice is not an action against your selling account, we would like to remind you to carefully choose the sources that you purchase from for resale on Amazon, and ensure that all of your sources are providing you with the highest quality products."
Now while it is not a strike against the account this is alarming. Some of the accounts haven't had a negative in forever. They sent all the emails at the exact same time this morning on diff accounts. Some accounts got more than one (I'm guessing one email per keyword violation they found in the feedbacks). Anyone else get one of these today? Anyone want to speculate on what is going on here? My guess is a new automated feedback search algorithm that flags accounts where people say "bootleg" or "pirate" or something about a product. |
