So I have a legit sellers account on amazon because I just started selling on there last month. I have no idea about all these money holds. I have about $2k Sitting in the amazon account waiting to come out. When will this money be withdrawal able? Is it a 14 or 21 day old. Someone just please fill me in on all this amazon stuff.

Every 2 weeks if you are a pro - merchant seller and 7 days for normal sellers.

They will also hold funds in relation to any disputes for 30 days

How come normal sellers get the money faster? That doesn't really seem to fair.

normal sellers have a rolling reserve, pro sellers do not. if you are pro, what you make in that 2-week period is what is sent to your bank account, plus you can add your own items to their catalog

Well, look at it this way.
With a regular account, you get a hold on your money with the rolling reserve.
Which means, you will not be able to totally clear your funds.

If you have 2k in your account that is pro, you get all of that money in the 2 week period. thats up to about 4k in total a month since its bi-weekly.
To me, the 40 bucks a month is worth it to be able to have all of your money instead of a small percentage of it.

and, as potofgold said, you can list your own categories

plus with the pro account, you don't pay the 99-cent per item listing fee. if you have a ton of items on amazon, that is a huge savings

if you go pro and say you have 1000 sitting in the account in 2 weeks when you are supposed to get those funds can they put you in review and hold that money longer? Has anyone had this done to them.

See there is a problem with the payments. If you use a brick and morter bank no problem .If you use an online banking card then their may be a problem with the large funds transfer. There may be a capped amount per transfer then you are screwed??
Before w we were transfering every 24 hrs so there was no problem. I bet amazon had looked into this before changing the payment system. They most likely know which banks have a cap and used this to their advantage...
