amazon new account

they now require $4 dollar authorization in order to verify.i just tried and y vcc was decline but they open a limited amazon account with alert that says I will limited access until I provide a valid credit card. anyone have this happen to them.

Yes. Last night I logged in to an account made recently, tried adding 2 DIFFERENT cards (Not VCC's or gift cards, legit cards, AVS will match) And they were declining them!!!

Just kept sending me round in a loop, accepting the card sending me to seller central then next link I click i'm back at the verift CC page!

$4 is about right - I have heard sometime even a bit more.

so whats the deal is this some kinda of error on amazon.com or what? Should I use my gift card to verify or will go into a loop like mevebay?
