| incniu | 10-30-2012 03:55 PM | It seems AMAZON is enforcing strict tax id rule Anyone still sell well without tax id provided? |
| Gamefreak | 10-30-2012 06:33 PM | a friend of mine is without any problems so far.. |
| dancnbaby | 10-30-2012 06:33 PM | They almost immediately asked for mine. |
| Athletichunta | 10-30-2012 08:32 PM | I haven't had any issues. I wonder what triggers it. |
| incniu | 10-31-2012 10:35 AM | have you sold more than 50 items?

| AmazonStealth | 10-31-2012 10:39 AM | How is this is a shock? It has been huge news for the past year or so. Adjust to the times or you will be lost in the online selling community. |
| kris3841 | 10-31-2012 11:48 PM | My older accounts with 100% seasoned feedback got the selling items suspended but the funny thing is I have some newer accounts at 100+ orders with no problems. Go figure. |

| temptation84 | 11-01-2012 08:19 PM | If you sign up for Pro-Merchant account you will be asked for it almost right away! Even during the sign up process I think.
If you just run a regular selling account you must have 50 transaction before they ask for it. I have had a couple regular accounts be allowed to go a few transactions over 50 before they asked for it but they always seem to pretty quickly ask for it these days once you near the 50 sales mark.
On accounts I want to keep for a long long time I just setup new LLC's and get EIN numbers to use ;) Works every time! |
| Kelly441 | 02-08-2013 11:24 AM | Amazon Ghost is way out of date and it needs to be updated. |

this forum is the update | It's great to have the forum, but it is too daunting to try and gather all the important information together just from the forums. I would be happy to pay again for an updated Amazon Ghost. There is too much disinfo in Amazon Ghost because of how old the information is, and it needs to be rewritten. Look at my post here; http://www.aspkin.com/forums/amazon/...tml#post419311
It's information like this that is vital to opening a stealth account and if someone reads Amazon Ghost, yet misses my post, they could do everything right and still get linked.
I have a feeling that if there is not a new Amazon Ghost in the works that someone else will provide a new guide. |
| Furious George | 02-09-2013 03:01 PM | You have to register the company in Delaware, if you want privacy.
I haven't read it, but from what I can tell, there is plenty of info in their to create a new account. |

I have a feeling that if there is not a new Amazon Ghost in the works that someone else will provide a new guide. | I have created many many stealth accounts (NOT because they are being shutdown)..... I assure you the info in ghost is not out of date. Sure there are some things I have learned on my own along the way that were not in the book but this has nothing to do with it being out of date, nor do I think it would be a good idea to add all of that information either.
Maybe I shouldn't be taking offense to this but if you feel the forums are to "daunting" to read through over a few nights of your life then maybe you should not be trying to run stealth accounts.
Many people here, including myself, have spent hundreds of hours on these forums and other places on the net gathering, reading and learning this information. Daunting it might be.... but nothing is too daunting if you really want to do it.... |

| Furious George | 02-10-2013 10:06 AM | Creating a DBA is as simple as going to your local courthouse and saying I'm doing business as, oh I don't know... Ricky Gervais. Get a new tax ID from IRS . gov and you are now doing business as Ricky Gervais with a new tax ID. Amazon has no idea Ricky Gervais is you.
You're making this waaaaaaaaaaay too complicated. =} |
| n8zzz | 02-10-2013 10:25 PM | Just remember though, you only get 1 tax ID as an individual, no matter how many DBA's you get.. so once that's burned, you gotta move on to the next thing. |

alter the xx in the link to make it work.. don't remember if I can use links, so didn't want to cause any trouble. Basically, opening up a corp in Nevada or Delaware isn't quite as beneficial as one may think.. |

Why? Saving on state income tax sounds like a good reason to me. |

| ghostrider007 | 02-11-2013 03:45 PM | also dont know if anyone know but Amazon does ask you for real name associated with ein. this caught me off guard and i was stupid and gave it to them:doh:. and of course im banned now. does anyone know if this is just a trick? and if they can really verify your real name matches EIN? |

For example, you could form 1000 llc's, and get 1000 new tax ID numbers.
Some people actually do that, and it's legal. |
