Default Seller review failed. Selling on new acct ?

I had an account I created as a seller account on 9-10. I did not actually sell anything on it till 10-10 when I sold 3 items a day for 2 days with a total value of a little over $300 to me and Amazon put my account in review on 10-11. 10-31 or 20 days later the account failed the review.

1. I received no complaints from customers on this account. No refund requests, and no a-z claims.

2. I requested feedback in a letter I enclosed with each product but received my first feedback (5 star positive) 11-1 one day after my account failed review.

3. I did not answer the request for information to speed up the process by giving additional information.

4. The account did not sell more than the suggested $750 in 30 days but was put under review.

I guess what I am asking is I have been able to create stealth accounts in the past without going through the review. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this. Or is it better to go through the review and try to work it out by selling enough to get the feedback required.

** My thought is to sell an item a week and maybe increase it slowly as time goes on. Much like the method used in eBay Stealth.

I am a bit nervous about selling after the review process starts as it will tie up or could tie up a lot of product sold and could.

*** Note *** My only thought was that the account failed the review because it did not receive positive feedback in the time period they gave it 20 days or possibly because i did not respond to their email for speeding up the review.

Thank you for your insight or experiences on why the review happened, why it failed, and or how to properly sell on an account while opening it.

spell out the method you used to create the account and people will point out the problem. Otherwise it is a guessing game .

once you reach exactly 750 $ limit for 30 days period ...amazon put you on review on 30 days. That policy work for all .

I used the Amazon Ghost System.

* Created an account with a gmail address for location.
* Created it with a VPN to ghost identity from the list given in AmazonGhost
* Had a brand new computer so I did not adjust the smac for this account
* Attached a brand new bank account to it.
* Phone number to the IP specific location
* Address based on Geo ip location.
* Used CCleaner every time before entering and after leaving the account and ip

* Used Internet Explorer as my browser for access to account
* Started account with a prepaid credit card as suggested in Ghost
* Everything went well on the setup of both the account and the selling account.

* Review happened after I sold 3 or 4 items. Total value of those items was about $200 not after the $750 as it was expected to do.

Everything else of what happened is spelled out in earlier post.

It also depends on what was sold

I've also just got the email for 'seller review'. Opened the account exactly 7 days ago. Sold 4 items.

Everything was created as per Ghost account. Is this just something they are doing now, or should I be worried?!

What about your CATEGORY of listing? Not specific product but what kind of stuff did you sell?

I was selling in Sports & Outdoors. I have sold here before and had no issues.

Could Amazon be targeting higher profile items, specific categories, or perhaps individual products for a faster review less than 28 days.

I think you shouldn't "Used CCleaner every time before entering and after leaving the account and ip" as Amazon may use cookie to recognize you.

Hmm sports and outdoors items...if you're item is heavily b**tlegged then perhaps high risk. If not - you probably sold too quickly in one day. But I feel that you are selling a popular item...
