I noticed on a few FBA items I am selling that the coveted buy button is being shared on an hourly bases. One particular item has myself and two other companies all FBA at the same price. The buy button is awarded to each of us as mentioned on an hourly basis. Has anyone any additional information on how AZ awards the buy button?

Low price usually gets you the buy button. Im talking several dollars less than the other prices not a few pennies that sh!t doesnt work.
For example your price is 69, other selling is 70, buy box is shared. But if you were to lower your price to 65 you would have the buy box all to yourself in most cases.
He is right, you have to be lower to get it by at least $2. Be careful though, you don't want to get into a bidding war with someone who got it a lot lower than you and can afford to go lower and lower. You might just drive down the price and be stuck there and kill your profits.
Thanks guys! Yes, I am aware the buy button is price dependent. Just wondering how dependent. After some experimentation, I have determined it is percentage based. I just wish AZ would have this information readily available to FBA sellers as to avoid price wars. It only lowers the profits for AZ and sellers alike.

If you have low ratings you will not get it over someone with higher. But it is mostly price.
