Default Anyone else been banned from buying on Amazon?

I got the guide but it mostly seems geared towards sellers. I just want to buy from Amazon but they won't take my money!
Every time I make an account using a real name, address, and cc they lock the account: "because the billing details provided with your payment method do not completely match the information on file with the card issuer".
They ignore my responses to update so I think this is just their way of saying they don't want my business.

I'm guessing there is little chance the guide will help since I will eventually want to link this back to my real credit card or another at the same address.

I am wondering did anyone else have this problem and get it resolved? I found one thread in my search but there was no resolution.

I don't think that is going to work. I've tried creating new accounts from a new computer with a VPN and a one time use credit card and it still just blocks me. I think it's definitely at least linked to the address as well.

Whatever did you do to get banned for buying?

I was banned from selling first around six months ago and I think it's carried over.

Yep. You are done for until you move, assuming you are honest with them. I had a buyer account with my home address. No issues. Then one day I made some error and they linked me with a dead selling account.

Once you are banned from selling you are banned from buying. They want nothing from you.

Always hard to say. I don't know the circumstances of your selling problems.
You really are not telling us too much either.

It does suggest that you are well and truly 'marked' by amazon.

Two points, make of them what you want.

Nothing can link you to the old you. Not one single thing.

Think Witness Protection scheme... ( I am serious).

2nd & more valid point, do not do anything 'silly' with your buying practices.
Be such a good buyer, amazon has no need to 'look' at you.
Be pro-active in making purchases that will be safe..
Good Luck
