Suspended for improper category listings

Hi,

We just got suspended for having items in improper categories. We do drop shipping and many items are in everything else. I have done a lot of research and find that many sellers also do not have UPC's, and that we were singled out for this.

Does anyone know how the suspension works? We had policy notice once a month for about 6 months. Did that trigger it? Or does someone actually see this by seeing your inventory. I guess i can get the UPC codes and re-upload them in the proper categories - which i will do before i appeal.

Can anyone give me a low-down on how this works, why so many other people do that, yet we got suspended, and how this policy violation works.

I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

Honestly, just google "amazon suspended me" - you will read thousands of stories just like yours. They can suspend you for anything and they do not have to give you a reason. Likely your money will be held for 90 days. It sucks but really google it, it's sickening.

So amazon sent you a notice 6 times in 6 months and you thought whatever ill just read it and keep going?

Reply to the suspension and hope for the best

I'm surprised you lasted 6 months with that many warnings. Amazon normally fire you off after three of those.

Please re-read the opening post.

The OP was given notice by amazon that all was not going well with his account.

He asked the forum to address his concerns regarding the 6 notices he got from amazon.

Your own issues with amazon are not germaine to this topic.

It would be preferable to avoid mention of them to allow the thread to remain on course.

In my experience you are probably SOL. Run multiple accounts, or start on a new one. Don't make the same mistake, view it as a learning experience.
