Valid point is to have a high enough balance on any card that might be subject to 'testing'. | thanks
I asked that because I used to sell on Amazon under my real name (before I finally got suspended for high ODR back in 2010) and when I was doing that I used my real name and the real bank-issued card that everyone that opens up a account gets
... and, get this, there were MANY times that I didn't even have a dollar on it, I had a high ODR, many A-Z etc and Amazon never seemed to mind (well, once they did - but it was that one time)
Fastforward that now to 2013 and with the gift cards I'm using now ... Amazon seems to, while they accept them, they seem to have "a lot less tolerance" for any account that uses them
For instance, I've had two accounts in good standing DELETED within the past 3 months that had no issues with them other than the gift card I was using it under I happened to overspend and the balance ran under $5 ... sure enough within a day or two my account would disappear.
Basically, and this is probably stating the obvious, when your selling under ghost methods you really can't afford to have any loose ends ... but if you have "legit account" it seems Amazon knows it and lets you slide a bit more.
