Default How to Handle? I want it now, ship to Hotel

Just curious, How do you guys handle this type of orders on AMAZON ?
Buyer said he got a flight to catch up, need this order delivered in 2 days, and the shipping address is a Hotel address ?

I recently just got hit by an AMAZON order like this, USPS did deliver in 2 days, it turns out buyer claimed not receive and I had to refund the money to avoid AZ claim and neg FB.
I mean I smelled the rat once I see the rush message from this buyer, I know this could be some kind of scam ... Would you guys cancel this order in AMAZON ? or what would you do differently other than sending this order out by signature confirmation ?

Value of order?

Possible that the buyer has his employment address, ie, hotel, as a shipping address.

Depends on your own comfort zones.

I would cancel it. Unless you are a pro seller and can customize your shipping fees, there is no way you are going to recoup express postage fees from the measly shipping rebate Amazon provides.

If you do decide to ship it do it only with sig proof.

Ya .. I learned the lesson ..
This guy rushed me to ship to a Hotel address, turn out to claim non-receiving, so I just refund him and run away from the setup.
I found out whenever a buyer rushes you to ship to an ambiguous address (Hotel or changing shipping address), 90% of the time are scams.
In a Hotel, even if I put sig proof, buyer can still claim non-receiving, if buyer filed AZ Claim, the end result would be AMAZON reimburse the buyer, I get a ODR point, I still lose, so just issue refund and say something nice then run, at least, the scammer gets what he wants - free stuff, and PROBABLY would not bother leaving me neg fb.

Bummer, just treat this as a cheap@ss begger bump into my doorstep asking for some free stuff .. give it to him and close my door .... The problem is , on AMAZON, they can come back again and again .. sellers simply have no way to block them ... sigh !!!

what a hack ! see what I told you guys.
This scammer just send me a message saying thank you and he is going to order again !!!
How am I gonna get out of this ???

Call amazon seller support, or contact Attorney General.

Yeah, unfortunately there are scammers that know precisely how to game the system. I feel your pain.... you are not alone.

I never deal with anyone that asks for a rush order. Somebody needs something that badly they are going to go to the mall and get it. So either you are dealing with a scammer or its a return waiting to happen since they went out locally and got it anyway.
