expiry date due on ccard Amazon UK

Hi,

I bought the book and have had an Amazon (UK) Account running for about 3 months with sales. However, the prepaid card used for verification is due to expire.

Will this matter? Will I have to get a new card?

Ive made (nor will I) no purchases on that account, but I do want to go pro merchant (if that's what it's still called) and pay my £30 approx per month. As long as sales cover any refunds, fees etc., can I leave my out-of-date card alone?

Advice much appreciated (I did search for this subject but couldn't find anything relating to Amazon UK).

From time to time amazon make a test charge to the card that you have registered. They don't take any money but they check to see that there is money on the card and hat it's still active.

If you don't change the card at the very least they will ask you to hp change it but a lot of people claim to have been suspended for this reason. I cant really say about changing it. With you doing it this soon it might create problems for your account and again people on these forums claim to have been suspended just for changing the card.

I guess the card will need to be changed. I cant see any way round this. Either I do it soon, or wait till Amazon request it.

What about the vcc's on here, would that be my best bet? (maybe should of done that from the beginning).
