Banned amazon pro seller Account with un-used EIN

I made a brand new pro account and got banned cause I sold too quick too soon... Appeal denied.. so i need to start fresh.

I have all new information to go ahead create new account with different IP and computer.

for EIN purpose
lets say my company name is :XYZ
on the banned account I used LEGAL NAME: XYZ
and didn't enter EIN number...

on new account is it safe to do
LEGAL NAME: XYZ INC
and then use unused EIN info for tax ???

I don't want these two account to be links.. EVERY THING is different except the Legal name, which is still sort of different as ill use INC now...

what do you guys think ?

TonyAlmeida 03-05-2013 05:11 PM

Watch for products link.

kockedoff 03-05-2013 05:55 PM

I dont have same product any more... so wont be selling that any more ...

Kelly441 03-05-2013 06:55 PM

They can link same name and they do check the information with the IRS.

TonyAlmeida 03-05-2013 06:56 PM

Why not going completely ghost?

had 50 orders in 1 day ! ... banned after 2 days ...
didn't even get a chance to complete my profile (that's how i still have un-used EIN)

Kelly441 03-05-2013 10:54 PM

I had about 150 orders in two days on my new account and it's been about 10 days now with no issues. My orders were FB, not sure if that makes a difference.

Kelly441 03-05-2013 10:54 PM

Perhaps you were selling something that is commonly ⊗⊗⊗⊗d or high ticket items?

High chance you are going to be recognised.

Kelly441 03-06-2013 11:04 AM

If they are using wildcards then yes. If they are looking for exact matches then no.

Kelly441 03-06-2013 11:05 AM

Just change the name of the company, problem solved.

kockedoff 03-06-2013 01:21 PM

I mailed in the form to State for Name change a month back .. didn't hear back from then (didn't cash the check either)... so i was thinking of using the same name ... with INC at the end...

Maybe, I'm just saying I used FBA for my account. There are too many variables and we are trying to compare two different accounts.

Kelly441 03-06-2013 04:42 PM

One good thing is that a buyer can not file a A to Z Claim or Chargeback against you. Not a good thing to get when going into review.

IronManWU 03-06-2013 06:24 PM

I definitely think selling by FBA is way safer for an account

I had FBA items and my account was suspended for suspected non genuine items and I was still able to get all my stuff back.

I wondering if they don't delete accounts if you ave FBA items. This would be a good question to ask everyone.

I have seem someone's message on this forum once somewhere, he did FBA and they destroyed 200 of his Flash memory cards cause they suspected he was selling non genuine items (his items were legit he claims).

If they don't delete accounts completely if you go FBA, its a good idea so leave couple of item in FBA...

Kelly441 03-06-2013 11:15 PM

I had to threaten them with legal action before they would move all of my product to unfulfillable so I was able to create a removal order.

Question when entering EIN for Amaz0 n:
does Name (owner) need to match the real name information of the stealth account?
say your real Name (owner of EIN) is Josh Smith, but the name on stealth is Bob Knight -- then how do you file it on Amaz 0 n ??

mike2016 03-07-2013 01:56 AM

remember to change your ROUTER & MODEM too. they can see the MAC address of your router/modem.

as far as company goes, there are too many similar named companies. but if you want to be safe, add a DBA to your INC and use it on your new amazon account.

FBA can be safer if 1) you are linkfree and 2) items can be source verified as legit

DBA wont give a new name with IRS, still need to use old name with EIN right?

They CAN NOT see your Mac address, you do not need to change it.

TonyAlmeida 03-07-2013 03:47 PM

Many people need to change MAC to get new IP. Not everyone using mobile broadband

As Johnny Carson (The Great Karnack) used to say "I did not know that"

Help! I need help with EIN

OK,

Amazon is asking for EIN. Do I use stealth name and address? I can get EIN online for $20.

I see all these partials threads, I need step by step instructions from someone who has been down this road..

Help is appreciated! :).

Kelly441 03-09-2013 11:06 AM

Amazon will check your tax info with the IRS. You can not give a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name to the IRS. Well you could, but you would probably be violating some law and they may deem you as a terrorist so tread carefully.

It does not have to match. Stealth name and real. If it is a LLC or corporation, you don't have to file your name, just the name of business with EIN. It could be different from the storefront name & address you use on amazon.

If it is a DBA, your stealth and and name doesn't have to match either. However, you must fill in real info related to actual DBA of name & address with EIN. Even if it means using your banned name (as in my case).

I speak from my own experience as I have LLC and DBA. Both of which have own separate EIN. Both use stealth.

.

" to actual DBA of name & address with EIN."

The DBA name or do you have to give the real name and DBA name? If so it makes DBAs useless if they suspended an account under real name.
