Unreceived message issue with amazon
 
Just go this reply when sending an email from a buyer. "Unreceived message: Due to a problem with the recipient's email system, we were not able to send this message to them."

The buyer sent me an email saying they did a USPS trace and the box arrived a few days ago. Only they claim they did not get the box. I replied back with a few options for the buyer (about 10 minutes after I got their email). This bonce message came back.

Anyone get one of these before?

I want to resolve my buyers issue ASAP. I fear that if they don't think I responded that they will open an A-Z on me.

The item was under $20.00 so I have no issue eating the lose to avoid a bad mark. Just did not know if refunding their money would also give me a bad mark?

Hi Dave,

There could be a few reasons why you have received that message, there's probably no point wondering whats happened because your buyer will either think its urgent enough to contact you or not.

You said they are claiming they haven't received their item? They haven't actually gone ahead and started the process of a dispute I'm assuming?

No. They just sent me an email saying the product never arrived. They did say they saw on USPS that it was delivered so I assume they know it was a shipping error. But that never stops someone from pulling the "emergency cord" and going in to a panic with Amazon.

Being that it was under $20.00 and I know I will never get anywhere with USPS I just issued a refund.

I agree, it's either a shipping error, or they have received it and they want a freebie. Are there no other contact details available on Amazon like phone number??

If not then you could either refund them and count your losses or wait and see what happens.

It is only a small amount compared to say $100, but I assume you make a profit on the item when it sells, imagine you refunding everyone that claims to have not received an item!

Don't know about UK but with US you see nothing but the name and shipping address that buyer enter. I mean none.

I've had these 4 times.

let amazon know of the glitch and let them know you have issued a full refund to ensure the happiness of your buyer.

One of my account got this error message, buyer didn't received my respond (maybe in his amazon account not not the email, and he just checking email but not check the amazon account). He keep sending couple messages about the item. I reply right away but got the same error messages. He end up filed a A-Z claim and hit me with a neg feedback. Amazon suspended that account for ODR :(

That's also the problem when an account gets suspended/deleted - cant even log in to handle buyers....nothing to go against the A-to-Z claim being won

I though when suspended you still can respond to the message just can't sale and get paid.

Yes when suspended from selling, sure you can still use the site...as long as you can log in. When you get deleted, you cant login or do anything...
