Yes should've been fine.
BTW, these random charges, do they actually take an amount. | They can test charge anywhere up to $20 - it's like "pinging" your card for the amount. That's why you must always have a working CC on the account. |
| kockedoff | 04-30-2013 02:21 PM | That's interesting, I don't think I have $20 on any of my cc attached to ago amazon ...never had this issue...I'll make sure I attach some thing will $50+ just to be safe :) |
| barrycruan | 04-30-2013 03:25 PM | I've never heard of them testing anything over $5. That's what you can buy a vcc that works for amazon for around $13. |
| jacknjill | 05-01-2013 04:18 AM | OP has not posted/responded since his original post.... we would like to know if you got any update of any account? |
| TonyAlmeida | 05-01-2013 08:08 AM | Man, that is scary. I thought they go easy like the rest of last year. I'm worry about all my account know Quote:

Running 4 pcs, 4 separate IP's, 4 different bank accounts, selling in US,UK,Germany and France, stock lists not identical, maybe only 50% same titles with over 500 lines. Not counterfeit, all deleted within 2 hours and all ghost accounts. How have they linked them!!!!
forgot to add, all accounts between 3 months and 9 months old, 98%plus ratings and all FBA

| Univerzal | 05-01-2013 09:49 AM | I think so, i have had more , worldwide issues than usa issues when dealing with amazon |
| TonyAlmeida | 05-01-2013 10:16 AM | I remember about more than a year before. They deleted account left and right. I have to quick for some time and start again now. |
| Speeder33 | 05-02-2013 03:24 AM | i would always quit oct- mid jan to avoid deletions |
| kockedoff | 05-02-2013 08:35 AM | Op any updates? |

you sounds pretty expert and know what you are doing....
you tell us, what do you think went wrong?
so far its down to product matching on all accounts in my guess.. |
| barrycruan | 05-02-2013 07:33 PM | But they have linked you. There is no way that 4 accounts have been randomly deleted at the same time. There is something you are missing |
| MICKY H | 05-02-2013 07:56 PM | kelly, the fba is being shipped from one location to de,fr,uk and use but the senders address on the labels shows different labels. I cannot see amazon tracking fba shipments in all 4 countries, can you
barrycruan, yes i have been linked thats for sure, but I have been doing this for many years and cannot see how, different ip's different 3g dongles with different telecom companies, different banks in different names, different addresses etc. I still have several accounts running, again same set up and these are fine, also selling the same 50 core titles with around a different random 50 lines.
The only identical thing is they are all running on macs with safari, but so are a million other people. The fact that they all came down within 2 hours is the bizarre thing. |
| Kelly441 | 05-02-2013 08:57 PM | I don't think that dropping off all your FBA to the same Ups store will get you linked by itself.
However, if they suspect the four accounts are linked for some other reason it would be say to pull up your FBA tracking numbers and see where the destination scan is and be sure they are linked.
I think you had too many similar items across accounts. For every same item you are selling I read you should have 10 other items listed. If I'm reading you correctly you had 50 listings for 50 same items when you should have 500 listings for 50 same items. |
| Kelly441 | 05-02-2013 09:02 PM | Your FBA shipment cost is calculated from the departing address. If your departing address was from a totally different country do you think UPS may have alerted Amazon?
Especially if you are short changing Amazon on shipments all the time.
Since Amazon is paying UPS and then charging you then it is likely the would tell Amazon not contact you. |
| MICKY H | 05-03-2013 04:19 AM | Kelly, I pay all the freight charges from the UK with DHL,FedEx,UPS, basically who has the best price on the day.
I don't enter tracking numbers in the FBA shipment, you can skip this.
Do Amazon allow you to use their UPS account for shipping in US then charge you back, WOW.
The thing I have other accounts selling the same products and they are all OK. Just strange and not to mention about £20k down in funds and stock. |
Sorry if I missed seeing this but MICKY H, you never stated whether your cc on file for each account was active and able to stand test charges... |

Is this a real issue do you think?

:ranger: | People keep changing credit cards all the time, more them their name, Business name, address, even bank account ...the thing which is most usually changed on amazon account is cc. New number, expiry... And amazn know this better then us |
| Kelly441 | 05-03-2013 10:19 AM | I still think it is products linking. Even though they have not shut down the other accounts yet. Assuming that you have made no mistakes what else could it be? You have covered every possible base that I can think of.
You should make sure that if you are going to open new stealth accounts selling the same product that you have a 10 to 1 ratio. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:13 PM.
