People keep changing credit cards all the time, more them their name, Business name, address, even bank account ...the thing which is most usually changed on amazon account is cc. New number, expiry... And amazn know this better then us

You would hope so. However, when it comes to counterfeit and possible lawsuit form the manufacturer they may err on the side of caution
