Sending FBA shipments

If anyone does FBA, do you notice sometimes it takes days to fully receive a shipment even if it was sent in one box?

You ship 20 of x, and today it shows 10 is received then tomorrow or the next day the other 10 pop up.

Does anyone else get this?

Not that often, they usually get stuff up for sale same day or next

I have had this happen many times. Also, watch the amounts logged into the FBA account.

I have had several items missing amounts in Amz. count. Ex: I sent in 30 clothing irons in one box. They said they only received 28. You will have to notify cust. service and open a case for the missing items.

Also, a few weeks before Christmas be ready for slower service. I had one item take a week and half before it was in my list. Again had to open a case.

The worst is when you send 10 items of one thing and 10 items that look just like it (or splitting 20 of the same items onto 2 separate listings in general).

I swear those FBA reps sometimes just pull out the first item, scan it, and then count all 20 and input them in on one listing. I have had a lot of trouble with FBA warehouses.

My advice is to not put similar looking items into one box and if you have a bunch of small items, rubberband them together or put them in a large ziplock together. Think of FBA employees like small children. You need to make this easy as possible for them.

Oh and putting a "thank you FBA friend!" with a shiny heart sticker on your packing slip doesn't hurt either <3 It's always nice if they see you as a person and not a number. You might even have no "missing" items from your shipment.
