Order cancellation request

Good morning,

How do you handle the "order cancellation request" by buyer before you ship?

One of my account went down because 1 (one) of this sh!t

I still have the cancellation email that buyer sent.

Thank you

You cancel the order bro. otherwise you risk a negative feedback and an A to Z claim. That's two strikes against you.

If you are concerned about one canceled order then that tells me that you have not built up this stealth account with orders selling small items for no profit. When you don't do this one negative feedback can take your account down.

Yes, I cancelled it and now got suspended :(

Sorry Tony

That's why I stress to build up orders using FBA on cheap items. Expecially before fulfilling any orders yourself.

Why

1) Canceled FBA orders do not mess you up
2) A buyer can not file an A to Z claim for an FBA order
3) Most negative feedback can be removed

Also, when you build up orders you can afford to be stern with those unreasonable customers and not cave into them because you fear a negative feedback.

TonyAlmeida 05-11-2013 06:30 PM

Thank you, I have to think about that.

Kelly441 05-11-2013 06:46 PM

OH and
4) Refunds do not count against you

Gamefreak 05-11-2013 08:47 PM

Cancel it, it wont count against your metrics if the buyer request the cancellation and you cancel as agreed. Also if the buyer leaves you negative amazon will remove it and send a warning to the buyer or at least thats the story i was told by them last week.

Kelly441 05-11-2013 09:17 PM

I would call Amazon and tell them a buyer cancelation triggered a suspension on your account and you could be back up and running.

TonyAlmeida 05-11-2013 11:46 PM

Yes, I cancelled it and it is the reason I got suspended.

I think it was an automated suspension done by their computer. If you call they will reinstate it without the need to appeal.

Something went wrong...if they buyer request cancelation then you should not be hit with a bad mark.

I do notice though whenever someone request a cancelation, and I cancel it, my "pop" score falls. I dont know why this is.

TonyAlmeida 05-15-2013 10:52 AM

Thank you all,

I took a screenshot of my account and the email from buyer, appeal and account restored with in 30 min.

Oh man, if I had a dollar for every time I heard that... I'd literally have 1 goddamn dollar.
