Has anyone been linked through amazon tax interview?

Name, ssn, etc?

Stealth 101: You do not use the same name, You do not use the same SSN or tax ID number, You do not use the same etc.

You would be linked faster this way than writing an email to Amazon outright telling them that you're the same dude.

The problem is that I've never used my ssn because amazon wasn't requiring it a few years back. My old name is banned and im not sure if it will cause a link if I use my real name and SSN in the tax interview. :doh:

I had an account suspended before and i am currently using a stealth amazon account with false info and address etc.. all is fine, but for the SS i put my real info (From old suspended account) and real SS since there is no way around it, I have not gotten suspended and ive done this when it was required back in December.

I wondering if anyone else had success.

I used the same name but just different tax id and I have been up and running for about 3 months now. Also note that I used different address phone cc etc... Just the name is the same.

You cannot take the word of someone who only posted 8 times and then disappeared. For all we know, his/her account was banned just a couple weeks later. Also just because something worked for 1 person months ago, does not mean that it will work for the masses today.

If you haven't used your SSN before, you could be fine using it now. I have personally had a successful experience using my own EIN number and altering the spelling of my "suspended name". If for example you were Daniel Jonson, now you might want to spell your name as Danny Johnston. It did not come up as a problem when it came to the tax review time because admittedly, the account became suspended before that for an unrelated reason. You can go either way on this, but some users would say that you could run into some problems down the line if the SSN & name don't match up just perfectly.

So I'm currently using my middle name
If I put my first name into the tax review does it have to match the name that's on my account on amazon?
I was thinking of using a shorter version of my name.
