Here is a little tidbit I discovered a while back. Was curious as to why multiple orders were coming in from certain areas of the country (USA), specifically same and neighboring states on certain days and then just fall off and then come from a different region of the country all amounting to a similar amount of sales each day. Really started tracking this because it appeared to be more than coincidence so occasionally I would call friends in different states across the country and have them look up a particular item that I was selling (specific DVD titles) and sure enough, in certain states the item would appear and in others it would not. It explained why orders came from certain areas some of the time and may be a factor in your situation; your items may be lowest price in some areas and may not in others. Just a thought as I don't know about the other categories, but I did verify this in real time with the dvd's. Haven't tracked it lately because I stared selling a lot less, but when I was doing 60-100 per day it was quite noticeable when shipping them. Oh, and this was from one account in the south so it was easier to spot. |
