| TonyAlmeida | 07-14-2013 03:50 PM | Chargeback claim Just got one charge back from 1 order more than a month ago. In the statement of the chargeback, buyer state that she/he return the item but didn't provide any tracking number for the return item. The buyer never contact me from the day she/he order, never request for return the item.
Can I win this case?
Thank you |
| jeffweico | 07-14-2013 04:09 PM | No. Well, doubtful. It is up to the cardholders bank whether or not to allow the chargeback. They will usually side with their customers - huge surprise, I know. |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-14-2013 04:15 PM | So Amazon can't do nothing about it? |
| jeffweico | 07-14-2013 04:19 PM | No, Amazon can try to fight it, but in the end the issuing bank is the one making the decision. The customer may have a problem using Amazon in the future, though. You would think they would file an A-Z claim, or better yet, contact you first. That is what they are supposed to do.
Unfortunately, some people use the chargeback as their FIRST option. These are people who are afraid of a phone. They do not like ANY confrontational situation and avoid them at all costs. Chargebacks were meant as a final option, to be used only after all other avenues are exhausted - but these people abuse them. |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-14-2013 04:27 PM | Wow, that suck to hear. But if I got ripped from this person, I will go after her/him as long as the shipping address is real. |
| Gamefreak | 07-14-2013 05:03 PM | Stuff like this all you have to do it represent your case to amazon. If you followed the rules they usually eat the case. |

Thank you | You can let amazon know there was no contact so you had no chance to assist the buyer. Be upfront with them
You have to let amazon know you would have done all in your power to please the buyer
Good Luck

| JamesNorth101 | 07-14-2013 05:47 PM | Has the item actually been returned to you? |

:nono: | It is still possible that the buyer has returned the item without communicating the fact to the OP.
I have had items returned in the past from buyers without having been told the item was being returned (all be it only 2 times in 5 or 6 years) |

The inclusion or abscence of such a piece of info changes advice to be given, yes?
:mod: |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-15-2013 06:38 AM | No, I did not got the return Quote:

| quantum773 | 07-15-2013 09:38 AM | I had a situatuion where the buyer purchased an item and stated on a chargeback that he didnt receive the item. I provided tracking to amazon and the bank sided with the buyer. Amazon sent me an email the next day stating that I was covered and I didn't have to reimburse. |

As long as you follow what you are suppose to do amazon sometimes eats it |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-15-2013 03:11 PM | I had only one A-Z claim and I won. But this is a chargeback case. Waiting to see what is the outcome. I already did what I can.
Thank you Quote:

| Gamefreak | 07-15-2013 05:49 PM | talking about this, I'm not in the same situation as you. Chargeback on a delivered item now a month later buyer claims they never got it.
Submitted info to amazon and awaiting decision . |
| n8zzz | 07-15-2013 08:54 PM | Just got 2 orders totaling 1550, from a scammer in FL. He tried to buy the items from 2 separate Amazon accounts. Always google the phone number and address :D! Some beautiful person reported them on some website and the scammer wasn't smart enough to change his phone number. |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-15-2013 09:10 PM | How do you get the phone number from Amazon transaction?
Thank you Quote:

| n8zzz | 07-16-2013 02:59 AM | It's on the individual order page for the item sold - located directly under the shipping address.
If you don't see it, I can only imagine that it may be because you could be looking from an individual account. |
| user3657 | 07-16-2013 03:24 AM | Where is the phone number?
Ive just looked and its not there. Ive never noticed one to be honest... |

| user3657 | 07-16-2013 08:05 AM | Is this an older account maybe? |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-16-2013 08:08 AM | I think so, I remember I have seen that before :) But all my old account was gone for good :( Quote:

| Gamefreak | 07-16-2013 12:02 PM | If you start off with a pro account you can see customers phone numbers. If you use 3p software like stamps when you ship the item you can also see the customers phone number. |
| Swiftronics | 07-16-2013 01:47 PM | Hi, will like to add that I also don't see the phone number for none of my orders on Amazon, I am new on a Pro account. You can sometimes, if you print your labels w/ amazon (was told), the phone number may appear.
I've not tried using Amazon's shipping Label system, we have a company policy; any orders above $250, ship with signature delivery, we also provide a return slip in case of a return, I make sure to displayed this on the Amazon store policy page.
But what would suck much is if Amazon sides with the customer, after all I would be smart and submit as much information to Amazon dispute resolution. |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-16-2013 10:42 PM | How long you guy got the result after you represent to your case?
Thank you |
| TonyAlmeida | 08-05-2013 03:18 PM | This account got suspended :( cause one buyer
Item show delivered but buyer claim she/he never received it (expedited shipping). Buyer email me so I send out another item next day. (~$100 item).
3 days later buyer received the second item and file an A-Z claim and request $7.49 refund for the expedited shipping and the same time hit me with a 1 start negative feedback.
Before that, the communications between seller/buyer smooth and nothing wrong. !@#$%^&*() wrong with that buyer? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr |
| Gamefreak | 08-05-2013 05:16 PM | Why dont you scare the buyer with some emails. Police report something..
This sounds like the buyer saw some weakness in you and took advantage.
I take it you didnt have them sign for it the second time? |

| Gamefreak | 08-05-2013 11:17 PM | all of those issues should only count as 1 bad against the account.
Account didnt have any other issues? |
| TonyAlmeida | 08-05-2013 11:44 PM | No, no issue at all. Just a chargeback came from nowhere and this transaction.
In the performance page they count 1 neg and 1 az. Just for this order |
This is getting out of control ....Amazon doesnt like this kind of field handling...how many feedbacks total? |

No late respond to email, no late confirm shipping, tracking number for all order. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:04 AM. | |
