For the that same price (actually less at $45), most residential customers can get dynamic IP from their ISP. If your ISP provides static IP, there are also cheaper options such as USB dongles, tethering, or even dialup.
5 static IPs might be convenient, but having an ISP that offers dynamic IP, I can cycle through their pool of thousands of IPs every time I reboot my modem/router.
Just many other options available at a lower price. |
