You can check this sequence of events by looking at our messages. I have asked the buyer to reconsider or remove his feedback due to the incorrect address, but he has not done so. In light of the fact that I did everything correctly in handling his order and the delay was due to his error would you kindly remove the negative feedback he has posted for this order."

OK, so how should I have worded this to get results?
If you look at the policy for FB removal in seller central, buyer error is not listed as grounds for deleting negative feedback. I think my instincts about Amazon CS were correct. They are as robotic as eBay.

In general, yes robotic - but have you tried a call pushback? Wasnt clear on if you had done that

Rsot waffle.

AKA fancy talk only understood by the hamster and him

And, of course, those in the know.

I prefer to not assume but......

Rsot may simply have asked if you have made a phone call as well as filing to get the negative removed

We shall see

Yes, I called twice as well as sending the email. Both times the call was picked up by different girls with some kind of Philipino, Indian, or Pakistani accent and very reminiscent of the worst call center days at ebay. I had to repeat things and they would keep talking thru their script as I was trying to answer the question. However I stayed very polite with them, as annoyed as I might have been.

They informed me that they must open a case and forward the details to the TAM-Level2 group - whatever that is. The first call I said OK and played along. The second call I asked to speak directly to someone in TAM-Level2 or whomever is responsible for making a decision. The call-center lady said she could not put me thru. That is when I got off the call and wrote the email.

If anyone knows how to bypass the call-center Judys I am all ears.

Happy to update that AZ has removed this feedback after much cajoling and making many arguments about the unfairness of this situation. Something akin to making a clear concise argument to a jury in a courtroom.

Thanks to Greenbean :humble: for planting the seed in my mind that AZ does listen at times and to fight for justice. It is a matter of getting to the right person - their mood - and your presentation.

Glad to hear it bro

Nice work on removing the feedback.

Call pushback that I typed meant "phone call" - sorry for confusion

Glad to know they were willing to do this! I have been in situations even more unfair than this and Amazon refused to remove the feedback. I guess it never hurts to keep trying :D
